Dragon Ball FighterZ is easily one of the best-supported fighting games available. Since it was released in 2018, Bandai Namco and Arc System Works have released two seasons worth of fighters and rolled out new updates on a regular basis.
If you thought that was it, though, think again. At the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals this weekend, Bandai Namco revealed it would be adding a new "Z Assist Select" feature to the game. As explained by the game's producer Tomoko Hiroki, players will be able to select a fighter's assist attack, and each one has three different attacks to choose from.
The team is also planning to make some adjustments to prevent one-sided matches caused by powerful attacks and combinations. In addition to this, it will be implementing a specific feature to give users a better chance when they're reduced to a single fighter in battle.
More news about the DLC character Ultra Instinct Goku is expected to follow. What do you think about the new feature and adjustments? Share your thoughts below.

I'm happy with what was announced.
My biggest concern is the comeback mechanic that they might be buffing in a way. You should never feel punished for doing a good job and getting someone down to their last person.
That was kind of my issue with Pokkén since they pull that with people at low health doing more damage and taking less.
so its MVC then?
This is the Goku Blue buff we have been waiting for
They're also getting rid of fuzzies, meaning you're no longer at a disadvantage when picking a big character, and new modes.
Looking forward to season 3 of the game, things are going to get wild! ^_^
Just take some notes from Marvel vs Capcom 2. This game is close to Marvel vs Capcom 2. Replay that game and take some notes and make DBZ MVCAPCOM 2 restyled
Game is way too unbalanced.
That sounds interesting but I've honestly moved on. Samurai Shodown is my new fighting game of choice. I prefer the mechanics and the online play is better.
Im hoping they finally buff Jiren. I'm wanting some good Jiren vs UI Goku matchs
@nilcam Samurai Shodown is a great game. I couldn't wait any longer for it to come out on Switch and got it on PS4 a few weeks ago. Haven't played online yet though.
@NESlover85 I couldn't wait so I bought it off of the Japanese eShop. It's completely translated.
@nilcam Darn it. Well the game is so good I might just double dip and get it for the Switch as well. Was the season pass free for the Switch version? I somehow got it for free on PS4.
It was included in the deluxe digital bundle. I think in the West it costs $60. It was on sale a few weeks back. I'm getting the physical version.
