i dont have more money!!! STOP!
btw, this is not the same sale NL mentioned before (the one they deleted right after they posted) with 70/80% of reduction..this one looks exactly the same I bought sonic mania, katana, killer queen black and horizon turbo (what, two weeks ago???)
I have accepted by now that my hobby evolved into creating a backlog. At least I got only Star Wars Pinball, but I'll probably shop again..
Sayonara Wild Hearts and River City Girls are two in particular that I've been waiting on a sale for so promptly downloaded both. Also grabbed 7 Billion Humans which was nice and cheap. A few others that I'm thinking about but don't wanna spend too much at once.
@rex_rex There's plenty more on sale now that wasn't on sale then.
Had a look on the Nintendo site and the sale looks great - much better than Black Friday. (Certainly for the UK!) Definitely picking up Enter the Gungeon and Katana Zero. Also tempted by Ori, Steamworld Quest, Gris, Ashen, My Friend Pedro, Superhot and the list goes on and on and on...
Obviously that is just a paltry sum of the total deals. That being said, nothing on that list interests me.
meh, this is kinda disappointing
Dissepointing that nothing on my wishlist is on sale, except for
Star Wars Pinball.
19 Tables for 20 bucks.
I might be blind, but there doesn't appear to be any first-party games on sale on the full list (not in this article unfortunately), but quite a few third parties and indies are on sale, such as The Messenger, the SteamWorld games and Ori and the Blind Forest.
A rather underwhelming sale for me.
Pretty lacklustre if I'm honest. I was expecting better. Ori may be all i pick up,unless anyone knows if it's getting a physical release?Plus, not one 1st party game in all those listed. No Resi games either, which I'd usually expect to be in a sale
I was holding out for Astral Chain, Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Grid Autosport. Ah well. Some good deals for games I already have though, Witcher 3 is worth the money at full price in my opinion so is well worth picking up in this sale.
I'll probably end up buying Snooker 19. I don't know why but my collection on any particular console never feels complete until I have some kind of snooker game on it.
Maybe Golf Story, if the sale occurs in the US as well.
Yeah, I could use some good news right about now.
Disappointing. Not a single game from all (checked on eShop) that I want. My wish list has a lot of games and only one is 20 or 30% discounted, and I don't even want it anymore.
I think it's finally time to buy Deal Cells.
Well, that was disappointing!
Too bad no Astral Chain or DQ X1S yet but i'll get Witcher 3, Rayman and Ori instead. Maybe Original Sin 2 too while i am at it. Already bought pokemon and Mario party for under the Christmas tree for the kids and did a trade in of one of our older games for Luigi's Mansion 3 couple of weeks ago. All of it will be in backlog as i am replaying Zelda BotW with my son at the moment. 116 shrines done!
Grandia HD is 30% off which I want. I also want the Arelier Arland triple pack but at 40% off (€54 now) it is still high but I could still get it. With this and the steam sale in a few hours my back account will cry.
I may see something else I want in this sale but depends if I really want it. Disappointed Deadly Premonition isn't on sale.
Was hoping to see more Nintendo published titles on this list but I guess that was unrealistic to begin with.
@Ainz Me too, I didn't expect 0% off on Nintendo's games.
Damn. Half my wishlist is here. Thank God it's for two weeks. Gonna have to spread it over two paychecks.
Looks like devolver is getting my money.
@MS7000 Nintendo doesn't discount them very often, Black Friday wasn't that long ago, and it's Christmas. The time of the year people gonna pay full price.
Is Crash and Spyro definitely on sale?
I can't find it listed on Nintendo's site. Then again the site seems to be a bit finicky. Witcher 3 was listed and now its gone and FFV: Pocket Edition has popped up out of nowhere on sale.
One of two new titles but nothing that's not been on sale numerous times at same price, switch owners must have very short memorys as a lot of games people are saying they will get have been on sale numerous times.
Some fantastic deals. Upto 80% off.
Nothing for me
@SilentHunter382
Should of got deadly when it came out it was 30% off. Don't know do get grandia now or see if it gets a better discount later but most games seem to always have the same sale price that never chances.
Can’t see any games with 80% off. I might have to go to the eshop but 700 indie games is a lot to go through
Bravo Capcom Europe! Zero discount for capcom games xD
Ohh... that tease was just for the European eShop...
That's sad.
It's funny how the eshop is packed to the brim, but there isn't anything to play. It's sort of like a fridge. The sale had about 40-50 games with an anime girl and a vague title.
Probably not on the top of anybody's list, but the tactical zombie/cowboy shooter Hard West is 90% off at £1.79. Got 7/10 on this website.
Flipping Death is 75% off at £4.49 (9/10 NL).
The Flame in the Flood is 65% off at £5.24 (7/10 NL).
Starlink Standard Digital Edition is 82% off at £12.59
(I'll add some more game for skint people as I scroll through reams of shovelware).
I might bite for some games, but my backlog is already big, especially now that epic games create a backlog for the computer as well (it’s raining free games!)
@matdub if you can’t afford it upright, you better wait my friend (unless you just have budget for gaming per paycheck)
@matdub Don't get me wrong, I am not criticizing Nintendo's business decisions; they are free to do what they want if they think it will make them more money.
At the same time, it is disappointing that Nintendo are boasting of a big sale, yet barely if any 1st party games are part of the sale. It also doesn't help when you compare to other companies such as Sony who are heavily discounting their own games.
How fun is it that the US got Cadence of Hyrule on sale because of the Game Awards but Europe didn't? I was hoping for seeing it on Christmas sale but nope.
Just bought Hyper Light Drifter and Blaster Master Zero 2. Also thinking of picking up Lumines Remastered as I've been enjoying a few puzzle games recently.
@Nego Europe got a discount on Cadence of Hyrule for the Black Friday sale, about a week or two before the American sale.
This is easy...
eShop.... PASS>>..
More sales yeashh!!!!
@suikoden Ya I wanted the physical edition when it was announced but forgot about it till I saw what was on my wishlist and the Physical edition wasn't on sale anywhere in Ireland. I will most likely buy it just before brexit becomes official so that I can get it so I don't have to pay import tax on it.
I picked up Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Gris and Sayonara Wild Hearts. Between that and Pokemon Sword that’s me busy for the Christmas break!
Is there no USA sale?.....that is lame
@Belatarr Really? Do you have info on it
Same sale is live in canada
Got Fast Racing RMX. Was waiting for a sale on that game
@SwitchForce
Nothing wrong with people not liking digital but it's a little sad that you needed to post, if the most jaded physical gamer can see their are some bargains here.
The US deals are up!!!!! They're much much better!!!!
Disappointed still no discount for Grid
@fadedcolors got a link to it?
@Belatarr Any other major title like BOTW?
@Belatarr damn even Ori isn't on sale
@fadedcolors
Yep. Noticed a lot of games that have never had a discount here, digimon is very tempting!
@suikoden is there a list of games on sale for the US?
@trandz
Yes it is, it's 30% off and too answer other question no
@trandz and
Will be on eshop website but have both American and European so that's were i looked
@suikoden what game are you referring to 30% off? Ori? I see it now at 19.99 on the US eshop site
Picked up Ori and the Blind forest. Thinking about a few others but backlog too big!
What surprises me though is why Nintendo (and others) haven't gone massive on 3ds... If I were them I'd be considering this my last opportunity to shift any games on the console. Just shove everything at 70% off and be done with it. Loads of games I would buy with that discount
@trandz
You do know this deal is for Europe it even says so in the title!
It might be me but sure the prices of some of the American deals have suddenly increased in price within the last 10/20 minutes!
@suikoden someone mentioned US sale is live too thats why im asking
9 pages of discounts on the Euro 3DS eshop also incase anyone still cares (sniff)
Includes all the Steamworld games, afew Atlus 50% deals (Radiant Historia only £8!!) all the Gunvolt games and the mini Bloodstained all got my attention amongst the usual Circle stuff.
Could really do with the prices listed on here, otherwise percentage discount figures are pretty useless. Also a file size. That would be great
It’s a great sale unfortunately all I that was for me is divinity 2
@Andyv01 Wait WHAT? Radiant Historia for £8 (around €10) Damn I been trying to get that physical for ages but for that price I will pick it up. I wouldn't have looked at the 3ds eshop sale. Thank you so much for looking that up.
EDIT: €9 even better.
EDIT 2: Hmm when trying to search for sale items for the 3ds it is showing up no results. . Oh on the 3ds itself. I was looking on the website. Derp.
I still dont see a sale in the US that ppl are referring to.
Hmm looked at the steam sale and there is only one thing that I wanted from there so I may look more into the switch sale.
So far just got Radiant Historia (Thanks to Andyv01). Though I am also looking at the first monster boy and The dragon quest trilogy (though at 20% off I could get other games and wait for a better sale.
Tempted to pick up Katana Zero and Ori. Also as usual huge discounts on Ubisoft games. Can really recommend Child of Light and the South Park games. Does anyone know how Trials is on the Switch? Worth picking up??
@icebear80 Have you played Valiant Hearts: The Great War? Both look like great games I might download
@trandz Valiant Hearts is a fantastic game and an emotional one.
There are 700 games to discount?!
Anyone have a list of 3ds games on sale, found a 2ds in charity shop for £15 so would like some games for it
Quite meh for me. Grabbed GRIS for a song (that game looks beautiful and moving). The 30% off Witcher 3 isn’t bad, but I’ve no time to play it anytime soon so will wait for now. Would also pick up Ori but I’ll hold out for 50% off as have a backlog at the moment. Really wanted a cheeky pre-Christmas discount on Grid Autosport, but no such luck, so ended up grabbing it full price for some holiday racing... oh well!
Little Nightmares: Complete Edition is also on a big sale! I hear good things
@suikoden problem is you don't own it and they can pull it from the eShop at their pleasure. And it also takes up valuable microsd space as well.
Looks like I'll finally get Puyo Puyo Tetris. Still waiting for Double Dragon 4 to be discounted. It's now probably the game longest on my wish list. Sonic Mania would be another. Generally I wait for 70% discount on lower priority games. Low priority and curious games it's 90%. DD4 I'll set for 50% as that's actually one I really want to play.
Given I haven't even started fire emblem, stardew valley or civ 6, I'm only 300 hours into Shield and haven't quite 100%'d hyrule warriors I'm selfishly glad there is little I'm really tempted by.
Too broke for this in Late December and so many games to get through. Otherwise Moonlighter and Final Fantasy VIII off this list alone would be on the table.
@Dromosus Dangit. I sadly missed that.
Thanks for letting me know
The Witcher 3 is on sale. 30-ish %... Finally dived in! 😅
And grabbing Gris and likely more. I would recommend getting Letter Quest on sale. a really fun game.
@trandz Valiant Hearts is a special little game yeah. Played it on pc when it was released. Worth picking up.
@Tantani Of course you are right. Usually when there are heaps of games on sale I make a list, halve it, then halve it again and end up with two or three games for twenty or thirty dollars. Experience has taught me to slow down and not overspend.
@Nego No worries. I only remember because I was really tempted to bite but I thought the discount wasn't at the sweet spot yet. Now I wish I'd just bought it!
I think I'll grab Final Fantasy X/X2. I've never played a FF game before and this seems like a good place to start. I've no time to play it just now but I'd be a fool not to take advantage of 50% off.
@antonio2244 Yeah I only saw one game on my wishlist that I wanted to pick up on sale.
Looking to pick up Ashen while there's still a discount. Anyone know if its good? not seen a review here yet
The eshop doesn't make it easy to scroll down a list of 700 games..
Really good sale. I got a bunch of games on BF(physically and digitally) so I'll probably just get Final Fantasy 8 and maybe something else for now.
So im seeing Spyro in the list here but not on the (German) eshop. will it be added later?
@Perryg92 same here. I really wanted to buy Spyro but I cant find it in the shop. Maybe they'll add it later as the end date is different too?
So no first party games on sale. Nintendo sales are absolute garbage.
@suikoden No one cares what you think ...goodbye..Got love that mute button lol
Thanks for this - thought expires last night.
Another day to hold out - backlog of unplayed games includes 3 houses, Civ 6, Lego potter and the 10 qubic games.
Need to resist...
glad its ending spent too much between the two sales.
witcher 3
mario+rabbids
grandia HD
my time at portia
lego marvel super heroes 2
lego dc villians
lovecrafts untold stories
graveyard keeper
divinity original sin 2
bomber crew
into the breach
titan quest
the flame in the flood
vaporum
a robot named fight
morphite
sinking city
This has been an incredible sale, think i got about ten games. it's good to have both a physical and digital backlog.
Already purchased Dead Cells and Unravel 2. Tempted to go back for Dragon Ball Z Fighterz Edition. I've never really watched much Dragon Ball, but the game looks great.
devastated- missed out on Yooka Laylee & The Impossible Lair, that finished yesterday!
I picked up Mario Rabbids as at that price it was a steal.
Also got Blossom Tales - a little gem - for almost free as I juiced my gold coins.
I was so tempted to pick up City Skylines, also on sale, but as a new Switch owner my backlog is huge and City Skylines is just too much at the moment.
The US sales were better to be honest.
I spotted Street Fighter collection was deal of the day yesterday for £18. No way I was paying £45 for that digital. With my gold points I only paid £13. That will do nicely.
Aren't those games on sale like every month? They gotta drop in more first party games, but for 50-70% off.
