Rayark, the developer of the accessible and fun rhythm game Deemo, have announced a sequel is on the way.
In the official teaser trailer for Deemo II, you can see rain, flowers and an old-timey train station. Towards the end is what looks like a giant, which could be a hint of things to come. Other than this, no additional information about the game has been revealed, and no platforms or release date have been announced.
There's a good chance of this making its way to the Switch, as the original 2017 release on the hybrid platform was well received and later down the line even scored a special Nintendo Labo update.
Be sure to read our review of the original game, that we said was a "fantastic" experience and one that music fans wouldn't want to miss out on.

Oh, nice. Deemo is right up there as one of my favourite rhythm games (that ending...). Definite buy if it comes to Switch.
I've been on the fence on the first game. I already have Thumper and VOEZ both of which I really like, but I'm not sure if I'd need a third rhythm game particularly because I haven't even finished the two aforementioned ones yet.
Such a sad, shocking ending for a rhythm game!
Voez and cytus are better
Ah, yes, I too love Demo II
I'm guessing, like with Cytus II, this will be for mobile only at least for a while to rake-in dem mobile profits via paid DLC/songs.
Hopefully both this and Cytus II make it on Switch eventually.
These people know how to make rhythm games, I love their games.
@Yosher If you don't mind fanservice I'd highly recommend Muse Dash. Very simple rhythm game (2 buttons) with a ton of great songs and a deceptive difficulty. It gets updated with free music packs quite often and it's around $30. It's probably one of my favorite rhythm games on the switch
@Oat Thanks, I'll look into it! As said though I already have 2 rhythm games on Switch that I both don't even have completed yet. But if it seems fun enough I may go for it!
