We're fast approaching Black Friday 2019 - which technically takes place on 29th November - and Nintendo has let us in on its very best offers on Nintendo Switch consoles, games, and accessories.
The highlight of the bunch is a Nintendo Switch console bundle which throws in a copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at no extra charge. Starting on 28th November, you'll be able to get the bundle for $299.99 - the regular price of a standalone Switch console.
That's not all, though, as a selection of major Nintendo releases will have $20 knocked off their recommended retail price, and you'll even be able to save on accessories like Joy-Con and the Poké Ball Plus.
Here are all the offers, prices, and dates you need:

Hoping to pick up a Nintendo bargain this Black Friday? Let us know in the comments.

Awesome! I’ll be buying a Nintendo Switch for sure!!!
Target has been advertising Breath of the Wild and Mario Tennis for $29.99 for Black Friday
What website is this on? Or is this the eshop
Be warned US people, the Switch in that pack is the older model, with the inferior battery life.
Breath of the Wild, Odyssey and Mario Tennis are $29.99 "doorbusters" at Target. That makes me worry you'll actually have to go in and the online price will be $39.99.
Hoping to pick up Witcher 3, Astral Chain, and Daemon X Machina if they are on sale anywhere during Black Friday.
@benjamouth how do you know?
Sigh....
Still no White color of Nintendo Switch until today.
cool the Switch model Nintendo is ofering is just the Switch one of my Cousins is going to bring to me along side Luigi Mansion 3 when he go to his trip to USA this novembre close to Black Friday.
Might try and get a deal on an Xbox this black friday
Oh look, the mew dlc is $20.00 now 😂
Be aware guys! The Switch included in that bundle is NOT the latest version, with more battery. It's the HAC 001 model, the old one, Nintendo has confirmed it.
Please Nintendolife, add it to the news so everyone knows, just in case.
Will this affect trade-in value?
The Switch bundle with MK8D includes the old model switch, you should add a note of that.
I was tempted by the Switch bundle...until I read the comments that it's the older revision. I suspected as much, but is there a direct link to a source that's confirmed it?
Wow how is splatoon 2 still that price
Both Target and Best Buy will have some pretty good deals. If you're still looking to pick up a physical starter edition of Starlink for your own Arwing display piece, Best Buy will have it on sale for $9.99. If you've been on the fence about the Switch Overwatch port, both places will have it ("physical") for $24.99.
@PickledKong64 there’s hardware here so it can’t be the eShop. Based on the wording, it sounds like Nintendo is temporarily lowering the MSRP for this software and hardware for Black Friday, meaning it should theoretically be like this from all major retailers, though I’ve never seen something like this before so I have no idea if retailers are required to go with this.
Nintendo still have no idea what a special offer actually is, I suggest just going to an actual retailer to see what they're doing instead
@PickledKong64 The eshop digital sale gets announced on the same week as Black Friday
The games aren't even really discounted all that much to consider It " black Friday deals." Now the joy cons for $60 might be worth my while.
There’s also a deal for a Switch Lite for $199.99 with a free physical copy of Crash Team Raching from Rakuten.
*Includes original Nintendo Switch model HAC-001. Battery performance ranges from 2.5 to 6.5 hours.
@Tyranexx Here you go https://nintendosoup.com/nintendo-switch-mario-kart-8-deluxe-set-returns-on-black-friday/
I just need a new Switch with the better battery life. I have all but 3 of those games.
The bundle feels pretty disingenuous considering the older models (for stores that still have a few) are generally sold at around $250 as it is.
As a digital buyer, I'm more curious what the Cyber Monday will bring. Although unless they drag the sale on to the 6th, it will land on the income portion that may well get largely swallowed by Pokemon Sword and the first few Frozen 2 screenings, so only time will tell if I make any use of it. #FWP 😅
I may finally buy Octopath Traveler. Been wanting to play it since release, but just haven't gotten around to it.
Best Buy will have some good deals on Switch third party games: Civ VI for $20, Witcher 3 for $45, Ni No Kuni, Diablo 3 and Spyro Trilogy for $25. Just to name a few.
I'm interested in what eShop sales there are, as I have quite a long wish list, and I'm pretty much all digital now. I'd even be interested in buying discounted digital copies of BOTW, Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Doom, and Wolfenstein and selling my physical copies.
These are solid deals, not gonna lie. I'd imagine that if the newer Switch model was included, it might be like $20 more or so.
I wonder if Walmart's prices will still be $10 cheaper on Black Friday?
They are not really deals. Maybe we get better deals in the uk. I bought mine 1 month after launch for 265 pounds with discount from Tesco. I feel regarding gaming sales it’s all on the PS4 and xbone
@the_beaver Thanks for the source! Again, wasn't doubting the claims, but I'm one of those solid evidence types.
Bowser replied:
"We will continue to support 3DS this holiday and into 2020."
Yeah, nice support there Bowser, not even 1 mention in that long list.
It seemed like a perfect chance to sell a Super Mario Maker 2 bundle with a Switch Lite, similar to a certain bundle from last year
And I heard this bundle contains the old Switch with less capable battery life and older chipset, I wonder why Nintendo would sell it again.
@benjamouth The picture doesn't mean it actually is also it's not that big of a deal. If you seriously are playing a game for more than four hours and have no way to charge it then you have a issue with where you are not the system.
EDIT: Disregard, I'm an idiot.
@technotreegrass $20 dollars off not each lol
@Luigi-number1 That's because their games all lose value after a week of release.
@Dirty0814 Whoops, thanks for the heads up.
@rjejr By support, he meant they will support having them on store shelves for unaware grandparents to purchase.
Might get the pokeball plus....
Is this $20 or $20 off? $20 for Zelda and Mario games would be a super deal
@Dirty0814 exactly so more for your money.
Even the Wii u was more expensive than the PS4 in the uk during sales
I’m hoping to pick up DAEMON X MACHINA, and maybe ASTRAL CHAIN or Dragon Quest 11S, in a good sale, but I haven’t seen it anywhere yet
Why no Smash Ultimate discount? Me sad, game too profitable for them innit?
@Anti-Matter
Yeah...
@Dman10 $20 off. I very much doubt that Nintendo would ever drop the price to just $20, even for the Black Friday sales.
Amazon.com has Mario Tennis Aces for $39 right now. I decided to buy that instead of trying to battle it out online or in person. $9 extra in savings isn't worth the stress.
@Anti-Matter I doubt you'll see a white coloured Switch anytime soon. Plus the standard dark colour hardware makes the Switch look much more sleek and compact than a white version ever could 👍
Why did I misread those prices at first, thinking they were selling the games for $20? 😆😆
@Dakka-Dakka
I don't like Black color for gaming devices.
I prefer White color than Black color.
White color makes the things look rare, expensive and innocent.
I have swapped the Neon Red Joy Cons shell with White color + 4 colors ABXY buttons and it looked much better.
Even my Old 3DS XL, New 3DS XL, Wii, PS2 Slim Japan, PS4 Slim 500GB, PS2 Fat USA (originally Black but i swapped the body shell with White color) are White color, except my Wii U (Black color and i don't like it). And i will do something to my Wii U to make it White.
Meh its ok I guess.
@Anti-Matter Hmm I don't think the white really makes it look any rarer or more expensive but if you mean innocent as in looking like a childs device then yeah, I can see that. Personally I think the white colouring makes it look too much like a toy... but I guess that's the effect you're going for. You could always just get one of those brightly coloured Switch Lites instead if you dislike the standard black model that much.
@Anti-Matter That sounds extremely spectrum-ish.
@ImagineerNik I’m also looking at Xbox S this Black Friday- Costco and Sam’s Club have starter bundles( 3 mos game pass and 2 controllers) for $199. Kohl’s has the new Star Wars bundle for $199 plus $60 Kohl’s cash. It’ll be a wait and see if GameStop or Walmart have anything worthwhile. Definitely a good time to pick one up if you’re in the market.
I think Nintendo could have released a different bundle this holiday season- this is the same as last year at the same price I think. Including Smash or Mario Maker would have been better IMO. Heck if it’s the old model they should be including the online service at least.
How the heck is a third party game that launched a year and a half a ago on Switch, and more than two years ago on other consoles only getting discounted to $40? The price of Wolf II, Doom and Skyrim on Switch continue to baffle me.
@playstation_king how was Mario tennis ever $60?
@Anti-Matter is all personal preference. I wouldn’t like how dirt and grime would show up on a white console and prefer darker colours.
@benjamouth
It does even say so on the box (with modell number and battery run time).
@tendonerd most of these games amaze me that they are still £45-£50 in the UK, especially after two years on the shelves, they would sell more surely if they lowered the cost after half a year like other platforms do
A stale console bundle with a years-old game.... thanks Nintendo 👍🙄
@playstation_king I assume that Nintendo feels if they had frequent sales or lowered the cost people wouldn't buy them day 1. Not just other platforms, but indie devs, iD, and Gearbox too have 50% off sales a month or two later.
@Darknyht Well at least they are supporting it in thsi email they just sent me.
http://view.ccg.nintendo.net/?qs=f6d007e180455d324e78d24755e91ef7f745e464de4b7881fee4ff5a81dfea96ea978b1688f2746b665b05210be5ee728761c3f2f5997bba4b1c36a72a59cd716793d8f890600b801ec572266597f1b5
Oh wait, nope, not there either, no room in an email I guess.
Her'es what I find to be MOST interesting though.
If you click through to the "Browse Gifts" page you'll see a section called "Nintnedo 3DS/2DS". There are NO 3DS there either. 2DS and New 2DS XL only. So even when he says "support 3DS" he realy means support 2DS b/c there are no 3DS to be had. That system, the 3DS, is dead. Dead, dead, dead. Even if they do have a few 2DS left to unload on the unsuspecting.
Still can't believe no Frozen 2 game on 2DS this year, I was so sure that was going to be 2DS big last hurrah. Then they honestly could have supported it 1 more holiday b/c girls eat that stuff up. Missed opportunity for easy money I think. But no, so it is dead.
@tendonerd I can understand what you mean but it could work against them aswell as some people would be put off the price and may decide to buy it second hand off ebay or game etc it's mainly why GTA, FIFA and call of duty sare always in the charts because of those sales, and mainly why I rent all my Nintendo switch games apart from 1
@rjejr Nintendo dropped software support for it back in March (Kirby once again is the final Nintendo game). It appears there are still something being released on the system eShop, but the last few third party releases were late US ports of Japanese games. Ever Oasis looks to be the last 3DS game that was released everywhere about the same time and that was 2017.
I think the console has been a corpse for a while, but like Nintendo said there are a lot of good games on it that people can enjoy at an affordable price.
EDIT: Oops, missed that was Nintendo published, so Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy in 2017 might be the last one for full retail release within a close launch window.
@Darknyht "there are a lot of good games on it that people can enjoy at an affordable price."
An affordable price, yes, but not a BF sale price. And Bowser didn't just give the usual bog standard "continued support" like any good talking mouthpiece would, he specifically said "this holiday".
I'm sorry, but you aren't "supporting" your console THIS HOLIDAY if there aren't any BF sales. That's not holiday support, that's let it die quietly and please don't ask me about it again.
And I know you're too smart for this, but for anybody else reading it, I know Nintendo doesn't control what Target and Best Buy put in their BF ads, but we're talking about official announcements put out by Nintendo, where, if they actually were supporting the 3DS, or 2DS, those games and systems should have been given a lot higher profile. Like just include them.
