Pokémon GO may well be full of Generation 5 monsters at the moment with the introduction of some of Pokémon Black and White's finest, but these new cosmetic items are perfect for those who can't resist the nostalgia of the original critters.
Available to purchase within the game's store as we speak are these Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle hoodies and backpacks. Each item costs 200 Pokécoins each, meaning you'll need to spend 400 if you want the complete set. The hoodies do work rather nicely on their own though if you're limited on funds.
It was recently revealed that Pokémon GO just enjoyed its biggest month since 2016, generating a whopping $176 million throughout the month of August. We imagine a fair few of these new clothing items will sell, too, which definitely won't do the app any harm.
Have you been playing Pokémon GO recently? Will you be grabbing these new items? Tell us below.

200 for each of the three items and to buy all three = 400???
@Lordplops Think they mean 200 for the backpack and 200 for the hoodie. Meaning one set will set you back 400. All three sets would then be 1200.
It looks odd with their mouths over your head like that.
@Yosher ahhhh! Got it, thanks!
I know it takes time to write an article, but much more interesting things are being teased for Pokémon Go.

My life is complete now.
I love these three, but is anyone else tired of gen 1 mascots always always always being the merch?
They should this type of stuff in Sword and Shield.
But they probably won't since there's no microtransactions.
Lovely, three weeks of hatching events draining everyone's wallet followed by attractive new gear in the style shop... Niantic is grabbing peoples cash HARD right now. Wonder what up?
For a second there I thought they were real world items and started to worry about all the children getting beaten up in the playground.
And the adults at comicon.
Thankfully they’re only in game!
I hope that was a typo and not a severe lack of basic math skills.
@Northwind
Char is looking at squirts though
If you don't spend money, coins are very slow to acquire in PoGo, I have to REALLY want an outfit to buy it. I'd much rather get more egg incubators.
