Outside of Torchlight 2 nothing really was a must buy for me personally. Was jampacked though which is nice, I do enjoy the format of the Indie showcases even if most of the games dont appeal to me.
I'm off to go plant a few quarters to see if they sprout into a money tree...because I severely need one.
Nothing really interesting for me, Astral chain is all I need right now.
Honk if you like horrible geese!
MOST of these trailers did nothing for me, though there were a few real standouts. That said, the games that interested me the most were games that have either been released on other platforms already (SUPERHOT, Ori and the Blind Forest) or games that are very evocative of previously released games (Skater XL). So, the problem may just be that these short trailers didn't convey enough about the games to interest me.
Creature in the Well, One Finger Death Punch, Phogs, What the Golf? all looked ace in the montage. Obviously, tons of featured stuff looked amazing too. And Ori gave me goose bumps. Wii U's dark days are truly behind us ^^
@KingBowser86 Yeah, where was that game? One of my most anticipated Indies.
Ori is a masterpiece. Looking forward to playing it again next month.
I hope this paves the way for the sequel too...
Only The Touryst caught my little attention.
Other games just Nah for me.
@Dr_Corndog I'm sure they're hard at work on it. For an indie game to be so hotly-anticipated and demanded, I want that crew to have as much time and breathing room as possible. Wiggle room would potentially give them the chance to do quality control and bug-squashing, add multiplayer, make the gameplay and puzzles geared towards streaming, give the game a title, all sorts of things!
Don’t think they will ever beat the indie presentation where they had both Cuphead and Cadence
Great presentation. Interested in more than half of the games shown thus far.
Great to have Ori and Superhot on the Switch!
I’m interested in a few of the games, so this was great. Also, need more money!
Really good showing. Got some nice looking new games and some older gems too. It'll be nice to finally play Ori, the Hotline Miami games and Torchlight 2.
Like ma Shoot 'em ups, so digging freedom finger, ori looks barry (Scottish term for really good) and did not see that one coming from the touryst, brand new F-ZERO!!!, game looks well done too
Eastward is a must have. I thought it looked similar to the graphical styling of Stardew Valley.
Tochlight II will be a great addition to my collection.
The Touryst looks great too.
I absolutely loved this lineup (at least 5-8 games I will 100% be buying). Ori was one of my favorite games I played the year it came out and never got to the DLC released after, so will gladly double dip to play this again. Also, Torchlight 2 and and The Touryst looked amazing. Hands down the game I am most excited for is Creature in the Well though. Thrilled we finally have a release date and cannot wait to get my hands on it!
@redd214 what about Eastward D:
@derty Looks neat but like I said doesnt jump out as a must purchase to me. Too many games to play ya know, if it came to PS plus/Epic Store etc I would give it a shot probably though.
what about Untitled Goose Game? I was hoping for a release date.
I’ll have to watch all this later. I did notice the lack of anything about Fuze. I had a newsletter from them saying it was about to launch.
Aside from a few games in the montage, the following are what have me the most interested:
Really looking forward to Creature in the Well when that comes out...
Torchlight 2! It's all about pets selling unwanted items and buying potions!
The majority of these look like good games but absolutely nothing looked interesting to me. I am waiting on Dragon Quest and Luigi's Mansion. And, of course, SNES games on the app.
Edit: While it was not announced here the "Sparklite" game that is coming does look promising.
Youropa looked interesting.
Ori will only be digital or also physical?
Very few of the games interested me in the presentation, and I would've been more excited for the games that leaked... If they didn't leak ahead of time. I love Superhot and Ori and I'm glad more people are finally getting to play these games, but other than those games honestly nothing else really captivated me.
@redd214 Risk of Rain 2 looked intriguing, no?
@BurgundyFlame from that trailer honestly no, at least for me. I'm glad others are pleased by it though, seems to have some buzz around it!
Ori day one for me!
@RAMYERSELL what new f- zero game?
Ori is on that day 1 list for me. Already pre purchased creature in the well. It's got a pre purchase discount at that! Kinda reminds me of hyper light drifter so I'm definitely interested.
Solid Showcase! 👌
Nothing really stuck with me from this presentation. That new title from Chucklefish is probably the most interesting for me. But I got to the end of the video and was just sort of like "Okay then."
So I guess we’re all just gonna pretend like untitled goose game was something we imagined last year.
@Tantani Releasing only on eShop
I thought a lot of these look pretty good. Given a sale or two most of these will end up in my collection at some point.
"Ori and the Blind Forest" is one of the most praised Xbox/PC games this gen. It's funded by Microsoft and is why it can't be released on PS4, but can be released on Switch.
Ori is probably the best game on the whole list here.
The sequel have been 3 years in the works, and will come in 2020.

Check my profile pic (had to change it as dont know how to put pics on this comment section)
It's a FAST game but done to look like F-ZERO, if Nintendo don't want to do it give them the nod, a think they would do a sterling job,
Also says shin'en 1989, F-ZERO came out Nov 21st 1990 but also says "had approximately 15 months to develop completely" putting the creation of the game firmly in 1989,
Might be nothing in it, maybe just some weird easter egg, but boy see if they are indeed working on a NEW F-ZERO, bring it on!!! bring it on!!!
Shin'en did Fast Racing Neo and Fast RMX for the WiiU and Switch. They also did many other games mostly futuristic racing games like F-Zero. All excellent games if you haven't played them. I love Fast Racing RMX ( basically its Fast Racing Neo Definitive edition) and a definite mUst for any F-Zero fan but would love to see one done exactly like F-Zero though.
Nano Assault games by them are pretty good also. Different but I found them entertaining.
Finally, some news on Eastward and it's coming to Switch! Amazing news.
Also, time to double-dip for Hotline Miami.
Eastward and Freedom Finger are day ones for me. This will be my third time buying Hotline and I am NOT complaining!
