Nintendo has released a new Labo VR minigame. This one requires to find your way out of a 3D maze. If you would like to check it out, click on the Switch news channel, find the Labo article, press the "receive sample" button within it and then boot up your copy of the game.
From here, you'll need to select the "Discover" section within the Labo menu, enter Toy-Con Garage VR and then press play. You can get up close with the maze or swap to an overhead view. See for yourself below:
This free 3D maze minigame joins the Sushi Board, which required you to collect fish, along with a giant monster minigame and an alien bopping whack-a-mole game.

Question.
Are the 64 mini games for LABO VR NOT available inside the cartridge from the beginning since it said "free download" ?
@Anti-Matter
This isn't one of those 64 minigames.
I'm so old I remember when I was excited for the BotW Labo update. Times were simpler back then. A boy could naively dream.
I hope it's good for those who still have the kit. I ended up selling it still sealed, after realizing that I had bought it without thinking it over.
Utter trash, I'm glad the sales numbers for VR labo where so poor, so not to encourage Nintendo to continue with more.
@Lord I don't think they were "so poor". In fact, I think I read somewhere that Labo VR outsold all the other kits combined or something.
@Lord utter trash my Lord?! Harsh words. Clearly it’s not for you. Labo VR and the vehicle kit are very much appreciated and enjoyed in my family. I enjoyed the making and marvel at the inventiveness, the kids love the playing. Quality family time together.
I'm not really interested in Labo VR, because of the technical limitations (I own a Vive, Index on the way), but I absolutely love that Ninty is making VR games and are trying out stuff.. Makes me hopefull that we'll see proper VR from them in the future (years, not decades)
Until then I'll live with DolphinVR and hopefully mainline dolphin will support VR soon.
I just want to be able to find a kit... I have been trying since it came out but nowhere seems to have it in stock. I'm looking for the full kit not the simple starter kit, those I have seen many times.
I love how much support Labo VR keeps getting, it's surprisingly good imo and definitely not "trash", very affordable way to get into VR
@Savlep99 The official store has all three kits as a bundle (for £2 less than the full kit).
@chardir The North American store sends me to retailers which don't have any in stock. I'll check out the UK store, I wonder if they would ship to Canada. Thanks!
really glad their still supporting the game with stuff like this. i just wish it had more of an online presence. sharing games i made online wouldve been an absolute blast
I'm having trouble getting this to work properly.
I get the sample appear, press the play button, but the camera controls don't work. Y button does nothing. R stick does nothing.
And do you have to manually save the sample to keep it?
Oh LORD, this has really me.
I just bought the basic VR kit, haven't tried yet the games in the labo cartridge since i wanted it mainly for Smash bros. And a new one comes just the day after XD.
@Randomname19 I tried Smash VR, for the first time, today. I was sitting there spectating, zooming in and out, scrolling up and down, but couldn't find a control to rotate the camera angle. Watched for another minute or so, slightly dejected, then I happened to turn my head slightly....
