So is this Ark but with a suit?
Will be adding this to my wishlist.
The visuals are absolutely amazing! I just wonder about the game play. And, "the more you die, the more your valley will die" Uh oh, I die a lot in games.
@MagnaRoader more like first person Sonic the Hedgehog meets Okami, with a sprinkle of Bionic Commando.
Appears to be boring (but well survival games are not really for me for a reason...)
@Balta666 this isn't a survival game. It's a first person action platformer with an emphasis on jumping. It feels great on Pc, so I can imagine it translates just as well for Switch.
I sometimes have dreams where I can’t quite fly, but I can jump around like in this game. This has me intrigued. If it reviews well I think I’m in.
@onex ok, it just that trailer looks like a open world where you jump around...
No way are those Switch graphics.
This game reviewed badly on other platforms. $20? They should have dropped it for $10, you know, impulse buy range. ; )
@MagnaRoader This is what ARK on switch should of looked like
The pictures look very pretty. I just hope the frame rate isn't as low as Infernal. (Or whatever it is called.)
I was excited for this after watching the trailer but then I saw the IGN review and this will be a pass for me.
Outside of Halo, I don’t know if I’ve ever enjoyed a first-person game. Pass for me. I have quite a few friends who are excited to check this out though.
@Balta666 It's only open-world insomuch that there are few loading screens, but there's a fairly linear path aside from a few areas with light puzzles.
@steve_1978 Seriously, those are total Bullshots, Switch version won't even look close to that.
@AG_Awesome I have those same kind of dreams.
Downloaded this yesterday and I'm loving it, easily one of the best games I've played in a long time and rather beautiful to look at to. Interesting story, tight controls, it really is just a joy to play
It one of those indies that if it was packaged as a AAA game you wouldn't be any the wiser.
Downsides, I find the game a bit easy so far and textures can be on the simple side at times and can (on rare occasions) look like a very good OG xbox game. It feels like it's running at 30fps but dont hold me to that because I'm just saying how it feels.
But for the price it is at the moment I couldn't recommend enough, I'd recommend it at twice the price so that tells you how much I like this game.
To anybody that's on the fence I'd say check out ACG's review on youtube as it give the most accurate review I have seen so far.
