Self-proclaimed Prime Minister of Australia Oscar Brittain and also the creator of Desert Child has revealed his upcoming Switch eShop release - published by Akupara Games - will be available on 11th December.
This racing game, containing RPG elements, has you speeding about on vintage hoverbikes as you attempt to escape from planet Earth before it explodes. In between races, you'll eat ramen, deliver pizzas, sell gun parts for money and repair and customise your bike. The title draws inspiration from anime-hits Cowboy Bebop, Redline and Akira.

Having been developed down under, there are seemingly a number of references to local culture. This includes the addition of Aussie hip-hop in the game's soundtrack and lines of dialogue comprised of Australian slang. Take a look at the original Switch announcement trailer below to get a better idea of what this game is all about:

Sounds interesting but the gameplay doesn't look that great, kind of just a mobile gaming "go up and down" approach.
Yes , yes and YESSSSSSSSS. I liked this since seeing the first trailer and had forgotten about it to be honest. Instant buy.
SO excited for this. With this, Gris and Forgotton Anne, my Switch really is going to be an indie machine. Loving these recent releases. Just need Red Strings Club now and I'll be set.
this looks really interesting! the style reminds me of a game I backed on kickstarter that has never seen the light of day.
Interesting, might check it out someday.
The action stages ogf this one are essentially a highly stylized remake of an old Nichibutsu arcade favourite that I discovered on the Famicom decades ago: Seicross
I look forward to this one.
Yup, I’m gonna do it. I just wish it’s enviroments were more Blade Runner-esque. To be honest, I am tired of the 8 bit graphic style indie games seem to depend on, but I’ll make an exception when I see something cool being done with it. Case in point. Sold.
This will largely depend on price for me since I’m on the fence.
Wooooowww the racing parts look so cool. Otherwise it’s a tad hard to make much of the other parts. I’ll probably end up getting this- I love the lore/setting of this (art style not so much but it’s still kind of cool)
Looks awesome!
But is anyone else getting Battletoads flashbacks from that gameplay?
Looking amazing Im really looking forward.
Bonkers in the good way!

Nicely spotted!
I'm sure he's a fan and felt this kind of game needed to exist again.
