In case you missed it the first time around, the Twitch Presents channel is currently streaming an absolutely massive Pokémon anime marathon. It's the longest television-like event Twitch has ever done, and will be running all the way through to 2019.
As a reminder, the Pokémon YouTube channel has released the above video to encourage everyone to tune in. In celebration of the event, Twitch has even added a Pokémon Badge Collector feature, allowing viewers to catch Pokémon and fill in a Pokédex by clicking on a small icon when a pocket monster appears on-screen.

I checked it out as they just started Pokemon 2000, but I got too annoyed being hit with 10 minutes of adverts every 5 or so minutes.
Are all Twitch marathons this bad?
Gotta watch ‘em all!
@XenoShaun yup and even AdBlock has a hard time blocking them
I watch it on PS Vita myself, Twitch app on it is so barebone I don't see any non in video ads.
@Rayquaza2510 That sucks. I usually watch Twitch (and YouTube for that matter) through the PS4 apps, but their revamp has been very advert heavy which also consistantly desyncs the streams I'm trying to watch.
Oh well, guess its just another one of those great ideas but extremely poor execution.
@Rayquaza2510 @XenoShaun Have either of you tried watching the marathon through the Twitch website on a web browser on a computer? I have been watching the marathon every so often on my computer and I honestly don’t remember seeing a single ad. Although that may be because I never watched more than 10 min in one sitting but I did watch bits of the stream multiple times today and previous days. You both should try that, it might make the viewing experience better.
@shadow-wolf I'll give it a go next I'm working on my laptop (only time I have real access to it). Would suck if this is purely an app based experience though.
Maybe its also based on location data? I know these advertisers use to be different (at least with what ads you saw) based on that. Maybe they felt it was a good time to throw tons at us British folk.
@XenoShaun I haven’t seen ads but I do have Twitch Prime so that’s probably why. And that feature is going away for Prime so... disappointing to hear ads are so prevalent!
I'll be 100% steering clear of this... I can't stand the Pokemon anime. The filler from the first season alone could probably fill 500 million MC Donald's burgers.
Eh, Twitch marathons. I'm always surprised that so many people have the time for that.
They do like one season a week. It takes forever and I mostly just wanna see sinnoh
You guys are really late since its on Johto now.
I've never seen a single moment of Pokemon
@Rayquaza2510 Happy to hear Adblock isn't working well.
I had learned of the plan to have this marathon for the program before it began and was very interested in seeing an episode of the program itself for the first time in several years (I had seen and enjoyed several of its episodes thus far and would continue to follow it for as long as it continues and for as long as it involves having episodes with soundtracks produced by a certain company named 4Kids Entertainment).
