It was way back in August 2017 that the multiplayer madness of Sausage Sports Club first came to our attention, with its mini-games full of floppy-necked animals, and now it sounds like the indie title is close to getting certification from Nintendo itself.
The news was made public on Twitter at the weekend, with a potential release date announcement also teased if everything goes to plan. Here's the tweet below:

Anywho! The game looks fun. hoping it will be, especially with local co-op when it eventually releases.
This is an unbelievably charming vibe to it. I've been waiting on more information on this. Can't wait for it to come out.

Hope it sells well. I would’ve bought this last year but too big of a backlog st the moment. Hoping the devs well though.
