The Nintendo Power Podcast was a lovely Christmas gift to receive from the company, starting a tradition of bringing eager fans an in-depth discussion of the hottest things happening with Nintendo once every month. Last month’s episode was focused around the recent unveiling of Nintendo Labo, and now the third episode is available for listening.
Episode three brings on Matt Thorson and Noel Berry—the developers of Celeste—for a talk about the popular indie game, in addition to a reflection with some Nintendo Treehouse developers on the landmark games of the Switch’s first year. Here’s the official synopsis:
Host Chris Slate discusses the hit new Nintendo Switch platforming game Celeste with its creators, Matt Thorson and Noel Berry. Chris also talks with Reiko Ninomiya and Tim O’Leary from Nintendo Treehouse about the games that defined the first year of the Nintendo Switch system. The group also answers listener questions, takes the Warp Zone game quiz, and more!

I listened to it yesterday. It was great to hear more about Celeste's development.
@Robotron2084 It's been discussed! Really depends on interest, I guess. I'd be down to give it a shot.
I'd be interested in NL podcast.
Count me in as somebody else who’d be keen, so long as it’s kept humorous. For me, where podcasts live and die is on the chemistry and back-and-forth between the casters. Although Alex might be able to provide that on his own, who knows...
@Robotron2084 Great idea. I already listen to NVC and Nintendo Power Podcast, it'd be nice to also have a British perspective on all things Nintendo in podcast format.
Radio Free Nintendo pretty meets my Nintendo podcast needs.
I'll give this month's NP podcast a shot, but last month's Krysta-fest was too much cringe for me to finish.
@crackafreeze yeah, I'm really enjoying this one. True Nintendo veterans and legit nerds this time 👍
