The next Lego video game is based on Pixar sequel The Incredibles 2, and - surprise, surprise - it's coming to Switch.
The confirmation comes from in-store promotional material for the actual Incredibles Lego toy sets; the photo above was taken by a staffer at Walmart.
This is the first time that a Pixar movie has had its own Lego-based video game. As well as Switch it will be coming to PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One, with TT Games handling development as usual.

Awesome look forward to trying this. Big fan of the Lego series.
A Lego Pixar Universe would of made more sense to me, though why do that when you can milk titles individually.
...Ok I'm just sour because a Lego Pixar would be so so awesome.
Meh, just a reskin of Lego Superheroes, I'll bet. And the Incredibles movie wasn't so great either.
This would have made more sense if it came out when the incredibles was released
@Bunkerneath Incredibles 2 is on the way, this will either be in time with that maybe or to build hype forehand.
@Bunkerneath the second is due out this year so I assume that will be why this is being worked on.
Personally I think this should be a lot of fun!
Finally, a non 3rd party port!
I wonder if this’ll have Incredibles 1&2 to fill content. Sort of like Jurassic world did
Also the lego DC super villians game is real too. I already know the official polybag that comes with it. Not sure if I’m allowed to tell where I’m getting this from but it’s true nonetheless.
@Prizm "...the Incredibles movie wasn't so great either."
You are wrong and should feel bad.
Not a big surprise to me... Lego games are always coming to Nintendo platforms as far as I know... Happy for this game, usually they are pretty fun.
Uuggh.... 🙄
Super Heroes again...
I prefer Casual / Sporty outfits theme.
First Lego game to be based off a Pixar movie.
Third Lego game to be based off a Disney property.
Third Disney game to be from Warner Bros Games.
Ooh! I like Lego games so I'll get this when it's not $60. (Because that's how much Lego titles usually are.)
I absolutely loved The Incredibles world in Disney Infinity. Was one of my favorites.
So a Lego game based on The Incredibles can be quite fun when done right. So looking forward to it.
Man, I'm so sad. I actually love The Incredibles, and I played the original 2004 game and have wanted something like it ever since. A LEGO game is cool, but not what I pictured for my future The Incredibles fix
@Winklebottom Video games are not yogurts in your fridge with an expiry date. That's common sense.
Should be good. Lots of potential for content.
The Incredibles movie.
Rise of the Underminer, pretty fun 2 player co-op game way back when - sort of a sequel to the movie in case anyone missed it.
Incredibles area in Disney Infinity. Mostly just the city but it was a city.
New movie June 15.
Certainly has more to draw from than the Ninjago game. They also added a bunch of made up content for Rogue One last summer.
I'll be appointed and won't get it if it's just the new movie. Though with the new movie out in 3 months and no official announcement of this game yet that's nto inspiring confidence. Maybe it's a holiday release?
It would be nice if they actually finished the older Lego games before moving on to the next one. Safe to say, I won't be buying this inevitably buggy piece of crap.
This seems just as uncanny as the Lego Pirates of the Caribbean game years ago
@RainbowGazelle You probably had a bad day so far. LEGO games are NOT buggy pieces of crap.
So now I'm in deep trouble. I mean, one more jolt of this death ray and I'm an epitaph. Somehow I manage to find cover and what does Baron von Ruthless do? He starts monologuing! He starts like, this prepared speech about how feeble I am compared to him, how inevitable my defeat is, how the world will soon be his, yadda yadda yadda. Yammering! I mean, the guy has me on a platter and he won't shut up!
@RainbowGazelle Lego games tend to be functional and not buggy, at least the ones that I own. Maybe it's just bad luck or a rare instance
Well, it won't JUST be based on The Incredibles 2. There's still the First Film to consider. Just like how the first four Pirates Films were used in LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean. Between the two movies, there's loads of content to be had.
This might be one of the first LEGO games I’ve gotten in a long time. I love the incredible
I think the Lego Super Hero theme is wearing a bit thin now, another Lego City type game would have been a better game for the Switch.
Hmm... I guess they're not releasing it on 3ds? That's interesting.
@NintonicGamer
Lego games stopped coming to 3DS after 2016, as neither Lego Worlds nor Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 saw 3DS entries. If you want Lego on Nintendo hardware from now onward, the Switch will be the only way to go.
@westman98 Oh wow I never even noticed that.
Lego games don't exactly take a lot of work. They already have the engine, they just need to make some reskins for 3D models, and program a few new powers and animations.
It really asking too much for TT to make a game that isn't done with Lego again? I mean I love their past Pixar film based games Toy Story 1 and 2, Bug's life but they were all different and really fun to play.
This is just another Lego Star Wars game with the Incredibles skin on it.
@Cosats Lego Dimensions, Lego Marvel Superheroes, Lego Worlds, Lego Batman 2 are all Lego games I've bought and found teeming with bugs. Plus many more verge on being unplayable. Honestly, look it up online. Lego games are unfinished messes.
@TF-Warrior Even if you exclude the earlier Lego Star Wars games, there's still Lego The Force Awakens and 3 different Lego Marvel games based on Disney properties before this one.
@RainbowGazelle
What games are you playing? Yes, Lego games have glitches like all games do but far from unplayable.
