It's the holiday season, so if course it's time to indulge your own needs while you should really be buying those last few gifts for your friends and family. And what better way to 'treat yo'self' than filling in the gaps in your amiibo collection? And oh look, Amazon Japan has just restocked its supplies of some of the rarest models in the series. What a coincidence!
Loads of models from The Legend Of Zelda line - which pretty much sells out everywhere else - have returned to the Japanese wing of the online retailer, including Majora’s Mask Link, Twilight Princess Link, Skyward Sword Link, The Legend Of Zelda (8 Bit) Link and the Wind Waker Link/Zelda from the 30th Anniversary series.
The retailer also has all five models from the Breath Of The Wild line, and the two Zelda-related models (Link and Ganon) from Super Smash Bros. So if you're missing any of these, you know where to go. The international shipping rates are actually pretty reasonable, so get on it while stocks last.
Have you completed you amiibo collection yet? Which ones are you still chasing down? Let us know in the comments below...

No thanks, but thanks for the heads up.
Dutch stores like nedgame and gamemania also restocked some rare amiibo’s including sheik from the SSB4 line.
Shipping is like $20 to the US for 3 figures...so the 3 I want would cost $50...pretty sure I should wait for a restock over here.
Quick, name the Links that are missing -
Rider Link
Archer Link
Wolf Link (if that counts, I'm on the fence myself)
The original SSB Link (I think, we own it, and I dont' see it here)
I'm pretty sure there's 1 more, maybe 2.
Now name all the special stuff the Link amiibo do in games. I think it might be a shorter list than the 10 or 11 Link amiibo.
SSB Link - spinner weapon in HW
Wolf Link - Wolf sidekick in BotW
Rider Link - does NOT get you Epona in BotW, b/c why make sense
SSB Link - does get you Epona in BotW
I don't have any 3DS games so I'm missing what they do in those.
Nintneod should spend as much time making their toys to life line do stuff in games as they do making new Links. Half of these really don't do anything special, and probably half of all Link sold never get used in any game after Link in SSB. Wolf Link is very cool looking though, but again, he's not really Link, more like Midna's pet wolf.
Nintendo's UK Store has the Majora Link, 8 Bit Link, Toon Zelda, Rider Link and Goblin in stock currently if you're after a few gaps to fill.
You guys rock for this article! The only one I was missing was the Skyward Sword Amiibo which I just ordered for $17.19 with free shipping. It was close to $50 a few weeks ago so I'm happy. Now I have all the Zelda amiibo!!!
@Dang69
You might want to check the U.S. Amazon site for the ones your looking for. They tend to drop in price whenever they get stocked elsewhere.
Too much effort. Still need majora and skyward sword
@Radbot42
Those are both going for around $18 on U.S. Amazon. You just have to click to search other sellers. The ones that Amazon automatically shows you aren't always the cheapest. I had just ordered the Skyward Sword amiibo for $23 and immediately cancelled when I found another for $17.
'Internaional' shipping??
Think you need to correct the spelling there...
@LegacySmikey I slowed down a lot after completing the Smash series, only really picking ones I need when the rare ones are in stock or I get paid. Tempted to fill a few holes in the Zelda line but really gotta save the pennies into next year... T.T
"internaional" shipping hehe
hmm ill check and see if playasia got a restock...
‘Rare Amiibos’ are the reason I buy no amiibos. Take that, Nintendo limited stock demand tactics
and all for the low price of 59.99.
(I actually didn't check the price, but I know there going to be expensive)
Probably a silly question but..will the JPN amiibo work on EUR software? Probably not right...? :S
I recently finished my collection. This would’ve been helpful a month ago.
Missed out on the Ocarina one, but picked up the other 5. Screw my wallet but it's still better than the ebay prices.
Nintendo Life, you do know the Link Majora's Mask amiibo is currently available on the Nintendo Official Store right? Maybe you should report on that too.
I have found a Majora's Mask Link amiibo in a GameStop and it was even on sale (2 euro less than the regular price), I took it and it will be my christmas gift!
It's a pity that I don't like the Twilight Princess ones since Twilight Princess is my favourite game in this series
Most of these can be found in Best Buy, GameStop, etc.
Meh, I got the Smash Bros Link amiibo and feel pretty set. Honestly, I think the hype for amiibos has really died down since the Switch came out, some people are still really into it but I feel like I don't really need any more. They generally aren't worth it for the bonuses, but it makes sense if you are really into collecting them or something.
I really just want Skyward Sword and Ocarina Link. I'm a sucker for a green hat collection in BOTW. Lol
@Ryu_Niiyama What's the word?
Shipping is only $10 to South Korea. Just picked up Majora's Mask, Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess for $45 with shipping. I also nabbed the Callie and Marie double pack, too! I have too many amiibo but I'm just fully addicted to them. I love them!! gahhhhh lol
I got mine for $20 or less each for the amazon and gamestop ones and the splatoon 2 ones, free shipping off some ebay account. Not bad but wouldnt pay more than that.
I found MM Link in Best Buy a few weeks ago (last one, too!) I also ordered SS Link yesterday, and got it today, though it came in an envelope, and the box was crushed (a warning for all hardcore collectors - just wait until these are on store shelves.) Still gotta wait 3-5 weeks for TP Link, but after this, I'll have all the Zelda amiibo!
(Please, Nintendo, never make new amiibo ever again!)
Dang I’d actually consider ordering a couple but I can’t make heads or tails of anything on the site other than the word Prime.
Best Buy restocked on a lot of amiibo and SNES classics
Actually... I just went through with this for 5. Skyward, Twilight, Toon Zelda.... then 2 random ones that were pretty cool that I have never seen before. Shipping $29.... total $74.... ....... 74/5= $14.80 per Amiibo... thats cheaper then in store. $9.54 per...itemized (on order confirmation (1035yen per amiibo = $9.19) ..... So basically I see it as free shipping. Now Im kicking myself for not slapping on the sweet splatoon joy-cons....when in rome. Thank you for this heads up and I think they will be pretty neat boxes in Japanese and some English.
