Star Fox Zero hits the Wii U this week, and you can feel the hype levels building in the Nintendo Life office - editor Tom Whitehead has dressed up as Slippy Toad and Operations Director Darren Calvert is babbling on about barrell rolls. The latest adventure to star Fox McCloud and company is so close we can practically taste it.
To add to the excitement, you might want to check out this amazing fan-made intro to the Star Fox TV show that - criminally - doesn't yet exist. It even has the best Star Fox song - taken from the opening level in the original Star Fox.
Granted, we're being treated to a special 15 minute animated short later today, but we'd really love to see an entire series rendered in this '80s style. How about you?

Getting some mixed signals with Krystal showing up, but cracking stuff nonetheless!
A cameo appearance from Buckey O'Hare would probably work with this
Other than the weird butt shot of Krystal, that was awesome. Loved the "start button" ending, nice touch.
Faye and Krystal? Way to harvest some internet popularity! It's a nicely done video!
No Katt aside, awesomely made video.
I totally would've loved this cartoon series as a kid in the 80's. The Arwing controls looked familiar for some reason...
Am I the only one who immediately thought of Fredryk Phox's cartoon? XD
Holy MARVEL Productions! That was one cool looking animated intro!
Brilliant. I have to say it gives me a strong 80's Saturday morning cartoon vibe - makes me think of Thundercats. Interesting for a game series from the 90's.
A few issues but Not bad for a guy that has only 4 subscribers before the NL mention.
The first couple of seconds reminded me a little too much of the megaman intro 0.0
Awesome!
Totally reminds me of the 80s with cartoons like SaborRiders or Bravestarr. Well done and awesome work.
I don't get why so many ppl complain about the butt shot... it sells and leads to the probably intended discussion. But to satisfy everyone they should include a male crotch shot next time.
Nice fan work and well done. also dig the glitches!
Cool!
