Teddy Together's recent announcement was something of a shock. Based on Japan-only Bandai Namco title Kuma Tomo from a few years back, this unique take on the virtual pet craze is currently exclusive to Europe and Nintendo clearly thinks it's onto a winner, as a focused TV advertising campaign is currently being rolled out in the UK.
If you for whatever reason watch children's television (hey, we're not here to judge!) then you may have spotted a commercial for the game recently. The footage highlights the features of the game, which include interacting with your teddy, creating meals and cleaning.
Teddy Together is out today in Europe.

Nice picture. Rated E for everyone.
It's a great game. So loveable and sweet
Unfortunate placing of the hand shaped cursor in the main pic lol
That's a suspicious place to pet a bear. Are you sure they're not trying to attract the (money-laden) furry audience?
From experience, furries are generally richer than the general population. Whether this is a cause or effect is up to you to decide.
The girl announcer voice is so sweet. Nice appeal to younger kids.
Too bad, European gamer are enjoying this game right now.
This is odd.
@Damo
MAD props for the Nostalgia Critic reference in the subtitle.
@AlexSora89 It's actually from The Hudsucker Proxy, but I'm guessing he got it from there too?

@Damo
Probably! References lead to other references, as all culture is connected somehow. Three degrees of separation, or something sorta like that.
I played the demo, reminded me of Tomodachi life & Nintendogs. It's rather charming :3 really would have appealed to my younger self!
Oooh Matron!
No thanks...
I tried the demo. I thought it was absolutely adorable and that it had some definite potential. Then my bear started talking...God, that voice is annoying!
My son has been playing the demo all morning
@TheWPCTraveler I'm sure it was just to get a laugh from whoever comes across this article. :x
OK the picture of this article, where that hand is, is VERY WRONG!
I have to say I'm quite impressed with the demo so far, can't wait to show it to my boy. He will love it.
For a Bandai Namco (published in Japan) game for the European 3DS, I find Teddy Together cute and sweet. Time for me to brush my teeth after this.
Is it wrong that I want to see a scenario or mod with this involving the bear being demonically possessed, and suddenly everything goes dark, and the bear starts talking in G major, then suddenly the bear cuts off it's own head and bleeds cotton, probably scarring the target audience for life?
Or at least the bear starts talking like the bear from the movie Ted, spouting profanities and asking why you're such a sicko, when you touch the bear's crotch?
sorry but i cant see anyone above 8 would enjoy this
@AlexSora89 Out of context it's the same line, but they have different meanings. I prefer the NC usage, I say it all the time!

Please, don't taint Teddy Bear image with such a thing like that. This game clearly targeted for young audiences. Just let the children enjoy this Teddy Bear simulation game just the way it is.
@whodatninja
You mean, "A FEEEEEAAAAAMILY PICTAH"
@AlexSora89 "OF COURSE!" - m bison
That is the ugliest teddy bear I have ever seen. If someone had given me that bear as a child I would have screamed. Were they afraid build a bear would sue if it were looked more cute?
Edit: No marks against the game...just that bear is creeping me out.
@whodatninja
@Bunkerneath @TheWPCTraveler @Samwise7 The hand is clearly on his belly, you all have dirty minds.
@Ryu_Niiyama Haha I think the voice is doing it for me. Pretty creepy! Sounds like me trying to do a high pitched voice XD
@Ryu_Niiyama Yeah, this bear is creepy. Not a cute design at all.
So I guess they released it in Europe first to figure out if that voice would kill the game. Perhaps if it flops there then the North American shores will never see it... I think it's a cute game but I cringe every time I hear the voice. I'd still buy/play it if it was released over here, but I'd keep the volume down, I think.
I agree with Moeblob in regards to the location of the hand in the picture (the bear reminded me of the one used to promote fabric softeners named "Snuggle", by the way).
