Dual Core is one of the Wii U eShop's most intriguing recent arrivals (we're still working on a review), with dual-stick shooting along with co-op play and RPG elements. Developer Gray Fin Studios has now confirmed some positive additional details for both European and North American gamers.
First off, the European release is now confirmed for 23rd June, so it's not far away. In addition an update has been submitted to Nintendo of America and is expected in the next couple of weeks; it'll include "off-TV play, new character upgrade options, as well as fixing a number of bugs and balancing issues".
Are you planning to pick up Dual Core, or have you done so already in North America? Let us know in the comments.

I didn't even realize this was already out in North America.
I can't wait for that review, to see if it's worth the $10.
One of those good Wii U indie games that I thought were skipping EU. I'm suprised and excited.
One of the better Wii U indie games in recent memory if you like local multiplayer. Good fun and really a pleasant surprise.
Smash TV much.
Good game and fun!
@dizzy_boy Yes, but that's what makes it glorious.
The RPG aspects only make it better, and I'm really looking forward to seeing more upgrade options and possibly even more weapons to choose from.
It's a fantastic title to just dive into with buddies for a night of mindless SHMUP fun.
@CharlieSmile trust me its completely worth it especially if u can find some1 to play with.
yes finally off tv play i been craving that for this and for the bug fix's what with a door not opening after the battery's have been put in.
This looks great! Somehow it had passed me by til now.
GREAT NEWS! I have picked up so many quality eShop titles (even though some of them are just ports of old games like Super Meat Boy) during the EU update these last weeks. Will gladly add this game to the list.
Can't believe I didn't know a game like this is in the Wii U eshop. And here I been waiting on Assault Android Cactus for that type of gameplay.
Looks very interesting.
