What with all the recent Pokémon news we couldn't say we'd blame you for falling behind with the news recently. That's why we've once more compiled all this loveliness into our usual package in the form of a delicious video presented by yours truly.
This week we look at a new Pokémon that's been inadvertently revealed in CoroCoro's recent trailer for Pokémon Sun & Moon, Disney Infinity's demise, the tireless efforts of Pokémon fans, and of course the usual roundup of releases and reviews.

Damn, when I read 'New Sun and Moon Pokemon Leaked', I thought that it was something I hadn't seen already. I'm not sure if 'leak' was the proper term to use here.
Uh... @AlexOlney, Super Meat Boy got an 8, not a 4. 😛
Yeah using the word "leaked" is really just click-baiting poor innocent pokemaniacs such as myself. They were revealed through official channels.
My guess is as good as anybody's, but taking good faith into account the word "leaked" refers to the Generation VII Pokémon (as in, the creature, not the franchise) glimpsed in the CoroCoro trailer.
Using reverse logic, its good to see Disney Infinity shutting down. It shows that these things really do have a limited shelf life. So the Amiibos will follow.
From an Amiibo collectors point of view its not good news, I guess, but as an old fashion gamer, Amiibos are getting to invasive on the games.
"Leaked" can trigger plenty of regulars seeing that the word has made some impact in people's comments. It made me look. I was like "Oh!" and then I was like "Oh?".
Leaked.... hahahah more like revealed by the developers. Olney you could erp a derp this way, sir.
That's quite the juicy headline...
I hope Sun and Moon has some better music this time around. I have been recently playing Platinum and the music is so much better than what X & Y. or ORAS has. B&W 1&2 still has some great tracks, but Platinum still beats them out entirely. ...but a large factor may be my love for piano music...
Yeah, impactful news this week; well, next month more news for Sun & Moon, and well, to wait the destiny of the others "living toys games" after of Farewell of Disney Infinity!, well, that still is long time!, XD
@remlapgamer
Oh!-Oh? confirmed for Gen 7
I've been bouncing back and forth between Yo-Kai Watch and Pokemon ORAS and I have to say, Level-5's art direction is so much better than Game Freak's. I love both games though, but Yo-Kai looks so much better.
I guess Poppilo is "Popular."
Great. Now I want some wine gums.
A true leak would be that on the official Japanese site for Sun/Moon, URL manipulation reveals that not only the 3 starter's types (plus flying) is represented, but so are Fighting and Ground. replacing the 1 with any number from 1-6 results in a type. 1 = Grass, 2 = Flying, 4 = Fire, 5=Water. numbers 3 and 6 are Ground and Fighting. this might imply that Litten might evolve into a Ground/Fire type and Popplio might become a Fighting/Water type.

Or maybe they're Solgaleo/Lunaala's basic types. or maybe they're the strange Dog's? Ground/Fire would make sense for Litten if they're going for an explosive/Fireworks angle Nyabby > Hanyabby (Hanabi/fireworks + Nya) > Dainyabby (Dai = large, similar to fire. alternately could be read as Dynabby combining Dynamite and Tabby) Litten > Sulpurr > Clowderkeg if it's going with excavation-themed.
Popplio becoming part Fighting would just be a sign that it just bulked up, becoming an even more acrobatic clown. personally going with the names Aquabat (Acrobat+Aqua) and Poppierrot (Popplio+Pierrot, a Clown archetype)
I really don't like these videos NLife puts up they are so boring
Also I hope Nintendo stops with amiibo before they milk it too much
Marking this video as "News" is misleading. "Recap" would be better, as well as not using the word "leaked", but I guess they've gotta pay the bills somehow.
@Plucky But if Litten's final evolution is fire/ground, that messes up the dual-type triangle. If it were fire/rock, then it works.
Whatever happened to the Aussie Pokemon Go beta? There's only me here and I still not got an email yet 🙃
@AlexOlney Is there any reason why you didn't title this article a NintendoLife Weekly?
@Knuckles The only reason would be extreme fatigue!
@TheJebou
I think to say it's 'click-bait' is actually quite generous, as that can imply a clever manipulation of information, misleading though not untruthful.
This was simply a lie, or at least a mistake.
@AlexOlney Oh no! Please rest up our lovely video creator!
Well, I watched it, click bait or not. This just affirms that I will be getting this game in November and possibly pre-ordering it in October.
@Mr_Zurkon if you like Yokai Watch go look up Inazuma Eleven :3
Why recommend meat boy and then give it a 4?
@MysteriousBebsi Really? The soccer part looked unappealing to me as I'm not much of a sports fan.
@Mr_Zurkon They have similar art styles for obvious reasons, but yes, it is pretty heavy on the soccer aspect so it may not be for you. :c
