We love a bit of StreetPass here at Nintendo Life and with our recent review of The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes it was our intrepid adventurer Thomas Whitehead who concluded that the game is best served as local multiplayer. The game also restricts you by only allowing you to earn 'Friendly Tokens' using the local-multiplayer mode.
We can understand that it's sometimes difficult to find another two heroes, however if you're in the UK (like us) the guys over at StreetPass UK have details of a whole host of StreetPass events across the country this coming month:

Wow, across the whole country. Sure...
StreetPass South Wales is also having an event on 31st October in The Little Man coffee shop in Cardiff. It was organised last minute, a proper Facebook event page should be up tomorrow.
Streetpass South Wales is holding an event on Saturday at The Little Man Coffee shop in Cardiff from 10AM to 5PM. They'll be playing many games including Triforce heroes. Could you please add it? Thanks!
Those are at least an hour journey away from me, but I'll look into it. It's great fun to meet other players, and I really want those darn outfits. It's annoying to lock things to local multiplayer when the game has online support.
you guys are already worried about street pass? I am more worried about those people in the sky realm. It is like a needle in a haystack finding one person that actually knows how to play any map of that area....
I haven't been to any of these events before, maybe I should try.
Nearest is Gloucestershire for me, but even that's a way away. Oh well.
I wish events like this would be in the U.S.
"The game also restricts you by only allowing you to earn 'Friendly Tokens' using the local-multiplayer mode."
I did not know that....pretty lame. Other than that one bit of news, the game has been fun. Hopefully it's changed so we can get tokens through StreetPass or online play with friends.
What exactly are these friendly tokens for?
@ravens326 there are events like this you just gotta look for your local state.
I am sure my state has one but I don't have much of a need I got all of the puzzle pieces and I'd rather not jump the gun on the 2 new streetpass games I recently got.
...'happiness pellets'?
@ninty4thewin Hi! There are groups in Scotland, it's just a case that none have any events announced. They are...
Glasgow - https://www.facebook.com/groups/1500277453593213/
Dundee - https://www.facebook.com/groups/streetpassdundee/
Aberdeen - https://www.facebook.com/groups/streetpassaberdeen/
Moray - https://www.facebook.com/groups/StreetPassMoray/
@RainbowGazelle Good day! There are far more groups than have anounced events. see here - http://streetpassuk.co.uk/find/
If there's a group there close to you, why not prod them and encourage a few events?
@Mandalore @bouncer0304 let me know when the Facebook event is up and I'll add it to the list.
@Baker1000 If you ever fancy coming along, we would love to have you there We have some people come from Worcester, not sure how far away you are though!
@Dakt @RainbowGazelle The groups are run by Nintendo fans who take some time out of their lives to host these events, if you wanted to set up your own group, check out the StreetPass UK website for information on how to do that.
Sometimes living in Northern Ireland feels like I may as well live on the moon in Nintendos eyes...we NEVER get these kind of events
@antdickens event details are here- https://www.facebook.com/events/1486718018324144/
@bouncer0304 thanks, I've added that!
@antdickens Thanks for adding it!
@FrozenLink StreetPass UK events are run by fans, not Nintendo. If you want to start a Northern Ireland StreetPass group, that would be awesome! Check the StreetPass UK website on how to do it
I run the Monster Hunter Essex page, just want to let you know you dont have to play monster hunter to attend the monster hunter event, I myself play zelda tri force and there will be othere non monster hunters too
