Sad to see Starfox delayed. On the one hand, it seemed to have a mixed reaction after the E3 reveal so it's probably for the best to make it a better game overall. On the other hand, I still liked the look of it and it does leave a hole in the Wii U's holiday release schedule, in Europe at least (we've already had Yoshi's Woolly World here)
That tag line......... =)
I'm really gonna have to change my alarm on my phone to something other than the starfox64 theme. And it used to be such a great way to start my day.....
WHERE IS IE GO :CS REVIEW!
It's a shame to see one less Holiday season game coming out: especially from Nintendo. This means that I would have to hold from from buying it until next Summer unless a limited edition is revealed.
Not surprising considering they've been diverting most of their resources away from Wii U development for some time now.
Star Fox Zero looked like such a half-finished rushjob. Anyone who thinks this delay is a bad thing are delusional.
Just give us more DLC for Splatoon and we are gonna be fine
Another Wii U delay is brutal, I was expecting Zero to be released months ago. Luckily I've liked pretty much every Wii U game they've released.
I feel like I can count the the games that Nintendo released for the Wii U that were not delayed on one hand.
Who gives an elephants left nut? You all have unfinished games on your shelves anyway. Having enough time has always been the problem. Now you get some. Finish what you have started.
@Aneira Any delays in an already sparse looking release schedule are only going to make Nintendo look like an even less attractive proposition for new Wii U buyers, lead to less sales, hurt Nintendo overall and possibly lead to them being less likely to release the kinds of niche games I like in the future going forward.
So yeah, I care. On a personal level though, I do have plenty of games in my backlog to play through.

Although you're right I still feel all this negativity you guys constantly are spreading is part of things going bad. You should try wearing the ambassador jeans and speak highly of Nintendo to none-owners. Win them over by highlighting the good things instead of the bad. Nintendo has so many aces the other systems will never have.
I for one am glad Nintendo delayed Star Fox Zero. From what I saw, it was a copy/paste of Star Fox 64 crossed with a Star Fox 2 and then made into a hybrid style game with more stuff.
Maybe spend time adding more multiplayer content, online dogfights and some surprise twists to the plot and storyline, new levels, and no more gamepad camera. Call it something different, as well. The Zero tag line implies prequel which this is apparently not.
One the one hand it's good Nintendo don't just rush unfinished games to market and then launch with 10Gb day one patches, though on the other hand this means that I will only be buying 2 games for my Wii U this year (Yoshi/Xenoblade) which, in my books, is a very bad year.
In comparison, I have bought about 12 for my PS4!
@datamonkey If I don't count my PS+ free games, I haven't bought any PS4 games... ever. Nothing has leaped out at me even though I got the system at launch (bad idea). Although I have preordered (and paid for since it was digital) Dragon Quest Heroes, so I could say I have finally bought one. Different tastes! (on a side note, StarFox is one of those: someday games for me. I'm not super excited, I'll get it someday to try out).
I'm ok with this, I'd rather have it delayed to give it time to get it right.
