If you live in the United States and have been dreaming of glory in robotic battle ever since LBX: Little Battlers eXperience was announced for the West, then an area GameStop might have a little something to get your fix before the game's 21st August release in North America.
Certain GameStop stores will be holding LBX demo events this Friday, 7th August from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. local time. Participants will be able to give the game a go on a New Nintendo 3DS XL system, and can also grab some giveaways while supplies last.
You can check this list on Nintendo's website to see if a GameStop near you will be holding an event. When you're done, maybe you'll want to sleep in your car and claw back into the shop the next morning for a chance to pre-order the amiibo Retro 3-Pack that is purported to go up.
Are you going to hit up a GameStop for a look at LBX this week, if one near you is hosting? Let us know below!

I might, because I actually really like this game.
Of course any of the GameStops in my area won't be having the LBX demo event.
So when does it release in Europe? Next month?
Nintendo really hates the word demo doesn't it? Everything has to be timed and limited and store exclusive. Will somebody please send Nintendo a letter informing them the 3DS and Wii U both have an eshop and they can put all the demos they want on there.
When I click on that link to the store list it shows me stores for a MH demo in July.
@rjejr I would, but I doubt they'd even read it.
@rjejr That's really odd. I get the LBX event when I click on that link.
I was interested in this game until I found out it isn't have online multiplayer play
@Windy That does seem like a massive over sight for a game boasting 3 vs 3 multiplayer as a selling point.
@Windy why does everything need online multiplayer? A lot of the games I have may include it but i do single player for like 99% of the time exclusively for most of them, only exception is splatoon.
Very eager to see reviews for this. I always love some robot fighting.
@Uberchu I don't think people would complain about lack of online multiplayer in a single player focused game, but this game has a rather big focus on multiplayer. So it does seem a little dumb that they're not including online.
@TimLatshaw - OK, it's working fine on my PC, maybe it was a tablet cache thing? Sorry 'bout that.
@Uberchu all games don't need online multiplayer. This game is just perfect for online Multiplayer play. I have over 200 games downloaded to my 3DS and maybe 30 of them have online play. It's just that this nparticular game has the perfect type of gameplay to Duke it out with friends online. I'm taking my 20 bucks and buying Japanese Railway Sim Kyoto instead......BTW that has no online play
@rjejr No worries. You saw what you saw. : )
Looking into it again today, I noticed that if you go to the general "What's New" section on Nintendo's site (http://www.nintendo.com/whatsnew/#all) it doesn't seem to show any latest news at all, and that MH event happens to be right up there near the top. Think there might be something a little loopy going on over there.
@TimLatshaw - Well you're a thorough fellow, that's nice to see. I went to that site and yeah, they seem to be a wee bit behind on their "news". Probably a combination of that and using the Dolphin web browser on my android tablet lead me where I went. Needless to say I won't be doubting you anymore, you seem to have things figured out on your end.
