We won't deny it, there's some serious nostalgia-driven anticipation for LEGO Jurassic World on Wii U and 3DS here in Nintendo Life HQ. Since it was announced that the title will arrive to accompany the new movie - Jurassic World - and cover all four films in one package, there's certainly been plenty of anticipation.
It's all been teaser footage so far, but we now have a full trailer that shows off the game a little more; it mainly shows snippets of comedic cutscenes - with brief gameplay moments - featuring that typical LEGO humour and wacky spins on iconic scenes. Importantly, it has that music kick in about half way through.
Check it out below and let us know what you think.

Can't wait for this! Will definitely be picking this up on 3DS and PS4!!!! Can't wait to see the movie too, even though it may not be as good as parts 1 and 3.
i absolutely HATE lego games. but i love dinosaurs and jurassic park. so i might have to check this one out. and pray that they make a REAL jurassic park game.
Buy! Buy! Buy!
A+mazing! This will be my final LEGO game and I can't think of a better way to say goodbye to these type of LEGO games with the Jurassic Park brand. So much nostalgia
Historically, I can't stand any Lego games that don't end with "City Undercover". But this looks like it's gonna be epic.
I haven't played a Lego game since Lego Indiana Jones 2, although I do plan on looking into this one! It's going to be strange hearing voice acting, though.
looking forward of getting the Wii U version and 3DS version
Looks good... It's such a shame they couldn't give the same level of service for the fans of the Hobbit films...
So have they announced a season pass yet that won't be available on Wii U?
After that insult for Lego Betman 3 and the Lego Hobbit news I think we're boycotting Lego games for awhile.
And it's on every platform imaginable, and it's being rushed out in time for the new movie, which means it will probably freeze up all the time like Lego Marvel did on several different systems.
caveat emptor me thinks
My wife is gonna freak out! Jurassic Park is her favorite movie, and we love playing Lego games together. June can't come fast enough.
Me, like somebody else here also said, has not played any Lego game since Indy 2, (which is an amazing game, by the way). This game I'm interested in, dou.
Man did I love thise films (part 2, not as much)! Most definitely a buy for me! Dinosaurs, LEGO, Comedy and Dinosaurs?! What else could one ask for? (Plus it was rumored here that we will get to play as the dinosaurs as well!) so, yeah.
Is Lego games even good? Always saw it as something kids play
The game looks like could be fun though.
I haven't been that impressed with the Lego games, but I'm hoping this one (especially the 3DS version) will be good, as I absolutely love Jurassic Park (1 and 2, 3 not so much).
Loved that tropical fruit Velociraptor xD
Jurassic Park and LEGO games, I'm there!
Omg ...I frickin' love that trailer XD and, like others above, am a big JP fan, so I'm definitely getting this! Please don't let us down!
I hope hope hope the Wii U version has a steady frame rate this time!
Is Jeff Goldbloom in the new movie?
@Aozz101x Same here, Wii U for sure, but likely will pickup the 3DS and or maybe PS4 versions too. I've said it before and will say it again, the Wii U is the best place for LEGO games with it's split screen option of GamePad and TV.
@PaperMario64 I used to think they were overly simplistic, but started playing them with Lego City Undercover and absolutely loved it. Since then I have picked up every one for Wii U (except LEGO Hobbit, still sad about it not being a true trilogy). They are platformer puzzle games is the best way I can think to describe them with a lot of humor. Each character has distinct abilities that are required for taking on various story driven objectives throughout the game. As multiplayer games they are very fun and easy to pickup for kids four and up I would say. But the humor and gameplay is still entertaining for adults. If you have a Wii U I recommend picking up LEGO City Undercover first (as it's the best in my opinion) but lacks a multiplayer mode and then try others based on your franchise preferences. My kids and I have put many hours in LEGO Marvel on Wii U. Instead of a kaleidoscoping split screen for multiplayer, both first and second players can have their own screens (GamePad and television) which is very convenient. If you are a completionist once you beat the games there are still many hours of searching for and finding the hundreds of hidden characters. It's pretty fullfilling to be able to fly around in the LEGO Marvel world as Iron Man or find and be Xavier in his wheelchair.
I stopped caring about lego games when they started crapping out 2 broken games a year.
Looks Fun
@rjejr No they haven't but WiiU owners only get the version where it covers just two of the films. 😂
Only kidding. Before anyone takes me seriously.
As a Lego games and Jurassic park fan this will be a day of release buy, unless the do actually shaft the WiiU owners with some second rate version to the other consoles.
Ooooh this is good! One of the first lego games I've been excited in!
This is going to be TOO good. I grabbed Lego Marvel Superheroes without even expecting much and it turned out to be HELLOVA fun and interesting. The characters were all represented perfectly, the gameplay was solid and even the missions and cutscenes were engaging and fun. It actually made me able to tolerate the Marvel franchise considerably, compared to what I thought of it before. Yes: it's a big deal.
But THIS TRAILER for a set of movies that have been awesome right from the get-go? I'll admit number 3 wasn't perfect, but every other movie has been awesome. And Jurassic World being included too -despite not being released yet- I can imagine this to be one amazing game! Day one buy for sure! Keep it coming guys!
But can you play as the dinos? Seriously if we can't play as the dinosaurs then I'm going to be miffed. I'll still buy it but it won't be the same...
Such nostalgia... i see they actually included the violence from the films but tried to make it more "comedic"
@VIIIAxel they started adding voice acting with Lego Batman 2 back in 2012. Since then every Lego game based on films take the dialogue directly from it. If you seriously haven't played any Lego game starting from Lego Batman 2 i suggest you start
@Resh yes they already confirmed that
@Mega719 Just looked it up.
Holy crap you can pit dinosaurs against each other.
Wow, looks nice. I might actually get this. I'll be skipping 2 though, I wouldn't want to experience that again.
Seeing as the Jurassic Park series is one of my all time favorites you can bet I am hoping for this game to be a quality release.
Welcome one and all to Jurassic World! Everything Lego!
@Sunkern191 buy the console games, especially Wii U if you have one. Lego Batman 2 was the start when Lego games were good again
Almost certainly picking this up. Hope they get around to that Simpsons Lego game next.
First that music hit me, then those familiar old voices. I think they did well to focus primarily on the first movie portion in the trailer. I'd probably get this for the first movie parts alone, the rest of the movie parts are a bonus.
Lego Jeff Goldbloom sold this game for me. Too bad at least half of it is going to be terrible. (Lost World and III) Maybe they will tackle another Universal property for Lego, Back to the Future maybe? It's turning 30 this year you know...
I will buy this day one...
Looking good...almost makes me want to go play Lego Batman 3 again...
@Laxeybobby - Wouldn't buy it day 1. Lego Batman 3 (3, not 2) is currently $19.99 on Amazon and it came out in Nov.

And w/ Lego Marvel Avengers coming out in the fall, and all the playsets to match, I imagine this will drop in price quickly.
