The Legend of Zelda Symphony is currently gearing up for its latest world tour, with concert dates in the Americas and Europe on the way. It kicked off in Tokyo just recently, however, and as this tour is the first - in this series, at least - that'll feature music from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Nintendo's giving it some extra attention.
The video from the recent concert is below, which includes some nice footage of the orchestra's performance and an appearance from series producer Eiji Aonuma, in addition to revered composer Koji Kondo. It's even been uploaded with the 4K resolution, if you have a setup capable of displaying it.
It's well worth a watch, below, and you can see the line-up of concerts on the tour at the official website.

Watching in 4K, even though my laptop is only 720p
I'm still disappointed at the whopping one date in the UK. It could easily come to places other than London, right? For example, Cardiff. That would be a ton closer to some of us (myself included) and I'm pretty sure it does have the facilities needed. Ah, well. I can always watch these videos and listen the 25th Anniversary CD on loop!
@Inkling
Me too. It's making my GPU pray for a higher power.
Here's hoping they'll release a compilation CD one day, since there's absolutely zero hope they'll come within 2000 km radius of me.
Going to the show next week in Boston. Hype!!
Koji kondo is awesome.
Dat bass trombone at 1:03. It's not even that loud, it's just fat!
It's still not for me, though. Everything is just dramatic all the time. The orchestra is capable of more emotion than that.
@GloverMist But nobody outside of Europe knows what Wales is lol.
@GloverMist Another factor is that each tour location has the local symphony playing. When they came to Nashville, TN, USA, the Nashville Symphony performed the songs.
@Polyaness I do! My mother's maiden name distantly comes from Wales.
@TingLz Really? There's no chance that the London Symphony plays this, do they? I'd probably travel internationally to see that.
I'm so hyped for the concert... my ticket already arrived for Munich, Germany in April.
@Nicolai Probably in London alone.
I hope they announce some additional east cost shows ... I don't want to have to drive to GA. Although I'm considering buying a ticket next payday anyway.
