Japanese toy manufacturer The Good Smile Company is at it again, crafting yet more wonderful additions for our figurine collections whilst leaving our wallets a little more threadbare. Nintendo fans have already been treated with Mario, Luigi, Toon Link, Isabel, Kirby and Pokémon Trainer Red being made into adorable Nendoroid forms, and now - a true champion will be joining their ranks.
Pokémon's Sinnoh Champion Cynthia, known for her role in the Elite four in the Pokémon Diamond & Pearl and Pokémon Platinum games, will be joining Trainer Red as the second Nendoroid in the Pokémon line. An unexpected choice but certainly not a bad one, as Cynthia looks adorable in her chibi form. Like all Nendoroids, Cynthia comes with a number of accessories and interchangable parts including a Pokéball, two facial expressions and her signature Pokémon - Garchomp.
Being an exclusive item to the Japanese Pokémon Centre, expect pre-orders of Cynthia to go quickly, and prices to soar following the initial release. Pokémon Trainer Red (which was also a Pokémon Centre exclusive) now goes for around £110 on Amazon, for example.
Although not available until July 27th, pre-orders for Cynthia are available now over on www.pokevault.com, where she will cost you $99.99. Will you be adding Cynthia to your collection, or were you hoping for a different character from the Pokémon Universe? Let us know, as usual, in the comments below.

This is one figure that I would actually buy even though I hate Pokemon Diamond & Pearl. It doesn't stare into my soul and its arm doesn't look weird.
Okay, that actually looks really adorable. And Cynthia is my favorite trainer of all time too. I'd buy it if I had that kind of spare cash lying around.
OH MY GOSH YES! Gen 4 was easily my favourite generation and that Cynthia battle was reeeaaaly difficult for me when I first played it, so this brings back lots of memories. Do Pokevault ship to the UK/Ireland?
I won't lie, she does look adorable. Even if I had the money, I'm not sure if I'd buy it or not, I've never fully played through any of the Gen 4 games.
@SlicingScyther yes, I ordered my Trainer Red Nendoroid from them and it came without any issues. Postage is about $14 I believe.
Cynthia is pretty much my favourite character in the entirety of Pokémon (and well beyond that), and I'm adoring this figure - but 99$? Not gonna happen. That's WAY beyond my pain limit (and I have a 175$ Miku Hatsune figma in my room, among others).
@TomServo_89 Thanks for the info.
Pretty expensive, but it does look nice.
Now all we need is Gardevoir and May Nendoroids, and we have a waifu collection ^_^
No surrpise she got one, she's many people's waifu.
WHOA!! That is amazing! I wish I could justify dropping $100.00 a figure, but alas, I cannot.
Good luck getting the figure guys, I'll have to pass this time
I think I could fap to this.
I smell the D/P remake...
But really, why a Nendoroid Figure. I want a to scale one.
@TomServo_89
So I brushed up on my "words British people use regularly" after yesterday. (Hangs head in shame) So I am making a peace offering.
Batman Year One #1 by Frank Miller NM OR Coventry #1 signed by Bill Willingham.
The choice is yours Tom, either one. Will ship to England. Have a good day.

@Spoony haha yeah, it's quite a british expression. And oooh both of those are extremely tempting, especially as I'm a huge batman fan, but really - there's no need. Very kind of you though, and I appreciate the gesture : ]
Looks so kawaii, not kawaii enough for that price though..
Lol, just bought it on the Pokemon Center website. $50.00. Still a lot of money, but it is a really nice figure!
