Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is on the way, and many are already masters of the 3DS version. Masahiro Sakurai is doing what comes naturally, then, updating the Director's Room Miiverse community with new posts every day.
Yet still, let's address the obvious question to our loyal and eagle-eyed readers. Our last summary of this nature was in late September. There's an elaborate, clever reason why there's been a delay... actually there isn't. Your humble writer just forgot, and a combination of a one week holiday and madness upon return meant it was missed. Please understand.
Hey, let's just carry on as if nothing happened! Especially as we've actually covered some of the more interesting screens from the 'lost weeks' in news posts during October.
To last week, then, which brought trophies, modes teases and confirmed some popular returns. You can find those posts from last week, along with their rather tasty details, below — click on the date heading to visit the posts in question and give them a Yeah.

Zero's here too!! There are also trophies of Roll and Proto Man.

@ThomasBW84
Poll is missing a choice for the last pic. I wanted to vote for that one, actually, so I chose Bass and Treble.
Same
@sinalefa Whoops, have replaced it with a full poll, thanks for the heads up.
Yay, first vote cough on new poll cough ....
Please make "Please understand" an option in the poll please.
Bass and Treble! Just look at that!! It's full of awesome!!!
@AlphaAlex No, when you actually go to the Tips page, you'll see three on a page instead of one, like the 3DS version. Sakurai isn't conceding that the Wii U version will take a long time to load so he put three tips on the loading screen.
Although, load times will probably be extremely long.
Toys "R" Us NA offering one free amiibo with purchase of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U! Already pre-ordered...
@AlphaAlex I just whipped out my 3DS to be sure, but the 3DS version only displays one tip at a time on the Tips page.
@ThomasBW84
Base and Treble?
A trophy of Zero! I had hoped he'd at least get that! I really never figured we see him in Smash in any way or shape, but at least it's something!
Now I just hope he or X are playable in a future Smash Bros. game...
Edit: That Zero trophy isn't getting enough love in the polls or in the comments.
Sakurai loves his menus
@BensonUii: In the Classic series portion of the Mega Man franchise, a lot of the main characters are named after music terminology. Mega Man's name is Rock, his little sister's Roll, his older brother is Proto-Man(Blues in Japan), his dog is Rush, his cat is Tango, he has a pet bird named Beat. Mega Man's enemy, Dr. Wily, created Bass, & his wolf Treble(Gospel in Japan) as an attempt to make robots of similar capabilities to Mega Man, & Rush.
@player310: Thanks much for that info! That sounds great for me, as I live in NA! I wouldn't have known that, as Toy's R' Us Christmas mini catalog literally has no WU anything! I know I'm not the only one, as there is a user here, that said the exact same thing!
@Everyone_Else: All the Mega Man trophies!
Bass and Treble. I like Zero more as a character, but the B&T trophy is a no-brainer.
Some pretty cool new images out this week. Crazy how much time and effort goes into making these games! The description Sakurai included on the Bass and Treble trophy is particularly enlightening.
