Before E3 doors opened we had exclusive access to direct capture let's play with Skylanders Trap Team. At the expo the game shows off an array of new characters both trap-able villains and Trap Masters, as well as clarifying how multi-player modes will work.
What really stands out past any of this novelty is the work of Toys For Bob on characters designs like Painyatta and Broccoli Guy — representing two ends of the culinary spectrum as our demonstrator pointed out.
It will be interesting to see how the Wii version compares. At E3 it has been confirmed that it will match the more powerful consoles feature for feature, although will be less visually impressive. We can live with that I think.
Skylanders Trap Team will be released on Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and 3DS on 5 October in the US and 10 October in the UK.

I can't believe its even getting a Wii version. Guess they like making money. Don't care what the Wii version looks like, just hope the Wii U continues to look good.
Painyatta looks great, too bad no toys for villains. Unless I'm wrong.
Seems like a bit of a learning curve for this one, especially w/ 2 player.
Skystones Smash sounds really good.
Nintneod amoeba could look better compared to these guys. And Nintneod needs a real hub world type game for it's NFC toys, not just as unnecessary add-ons.
Wait, I thought 4 villains per trap key so you coudl switch them in adn out during gameplay. I'm all confused.
I have always been curious about Skylanders. Maybe I will give this one a shot.
