Update:

Nintendo of America has now notified us that, unsurprisingly, this competition is for the U.S. only. You can see full details of how to enter, if you're in the U.S., below.

Original Article:

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD is one of the major Wii U releases on the way from Nintendo, and also kicks off a notable period for the franchise ahead of the 3DS release for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. On top of that The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses concert is currently touring North America, and Nintendo of America is launching a competition to bring the games and the orchestral tour together.

Set to be launched on the Nintendo Facebook page, artists will have the chance to submit their masterpieces that are based on The Wind Waker HD and the Wii U; the top five artworks will receive a system and copy of the game, while the top 50 will appear on screen during the current symphony tour.

With Nintendo going big at PAX Prime, meanwhile, the King of Red Lions replica ship will be kept in Seattle for the concert in the city on 12th September; there'll also be demo kiosks for both upcoming titles. The top five winners will have their artwork on display in the lobby for that event.

At the time of writing the Nintendo of America Facebook page hasn't been updated with the contest, and it's unclear whether those from outside the region will be eligible to enter to win the Wii U system and game. We've asked Nintendo to clarify and will update this article accordingly.

So, are any of you planning to enter when the contest goes live?
