Marvel has announced, at this year's New York Comic Con, that The Amazing Spider-Man will be available next Spring for Wii U. The port was announced during Marvel's panel at the convention, and the game will be taking advantage of the GamePad's touchscreen controls, as well as having the option to use motion control.
Like the 3DS version that's already been released, this will be developed by Beenox Studios, and it'll come packaged with all of the DLC that was released for the Xbox 360 and PS3. It consists of the Lizard Rampage pack, the Oscorp Search and Destroy pack, the Rhino Challenge pack, and the Stan Lee pack which was previously only available as a pre-order bonus.
This news is amazing, right?

The reviews I've read don't talk too highly of this game. I wonder if being "Wii Ued" will be enough to make it better...
How can you NOT show the Stan Lee pack?

Yay! I've been wanting this game and now I'm getting it for sure. crazy spider-man fan
(Yawns)
I haven't gotten this game yet (For review reasons) so this will be perfect for me. From what I heard, this plays more like a more dodgy Batman: Arkham City. I wouldn't really be interested in playing it if it wasn't for the Stan Lee pack being included.
will it have an open map of nyc or will it be like the wii/3ds version
It has received horrific revws on other platforms.
This game doesn't look so amazing.

@DarkNinja9 you should try spiderman 2 for the gamecube. Best spiderman game to date imo.
