DS adventure Monster Tale is available in North America now, so we've teamed up with publisher Majesco to bring you an exclusive contest for DreamRift's outing.
Created by the key leads behind superlative DS puzzle-platformer Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure, the game merges a top-screen platformer with a pet-raising simulator on the touch screen.
To celebrate the launch of this game, we're offering an exclusive prize: a copy of Monster Tale signed by Peter Ong, Co-Founder and Creative Director of DreamRift, as well as the game's original soundtrack. To stand a chance of winning, you need to follow Nintendo Life on Twitter and simply retweet the winning message any time between now and 5pm CET on Sunday 27th March. One winner will be chosen at random from all retweeted messages to receive the prize. Terms and conditions are below.
Important Competition Rules
As Monster Tale is currently only available in North America, this contest is only open to users in North America. If you live outside North America, you cannot win, even if you have a North American DS. Sorry folks, but them's the breaks.
Nintendo Life will contact winners through their Twitter account on Sunday 27th March. If users have not replied with their contact details before Tuesday, March 29th, they will forfeit the prize and another winner will be chosen. Monitor those Twitter feeds this weekend and next Monday!
The contest starts today, so keep your eye out for the message to retweet, and good luck!

hmm, gonna have to remember the info on my twitter that i pretty much only use for contests anyway lol
Cool!
Nice. I Wanna Win
Oh gosh, I was really looking forward to this game.
Seriously? Why announce this so early? I follow some many people on Twitter. My face is going to be glued to the screen.
done all my spare money going to 3ds so it would be a good win xD
What is the winning message?
Now I can actually put my twitter account to use, since I created it solely for this purpose...
But...but...I use facebook...
Sweet, a contest for NA...Monster Tale! reads more
Argh...
facebook... twitter... do not want.
DANG IT!! I dont have a twitter ;w;
Wow, excluding me, there are only 6 people who have retweeted this so far...I have a good feeling about this one.
I have a Twitter with only two posts on it...
AND NOW IT'S GONNA BE PUT TO USE
"Created by the key leads behind superlative DS puzzle-platformer Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure..."
Say no more. Instant buy.
I would enter but I already picked up a copy. It's and AMAZING game. I've only unlocked a few evos and beaten one boss but so far it's one of the best games ever made for the DS,
Looks interesting... The graphics remind me a bit of Shantae, which can't hurt.
Why is this the first time I've heard of such an awesome game? If it wasn't for this page I wouldn't have even known this existed! A platformer + metroidvania + petsim. DreamRift sure is creative with merging genres.
This may be a bit of a dumb question, but are we supposed to retweet the tweet that said "News:..." or a specific competition tweet, like in the case of Jam City Rollergirls?
Looks like a pretty cool game.
So how will we know what the winning message is?
What exactly was wrong with the good old "answer the question" contests? I'd love to win this game, but I'm not gonna go out of my way to make a freaking Twitter account to do it.
I don't have Twitter. BTW, are you guys gonna review this game?
@Portista: Yes
@Everyone: Winning message is "Win a Signed Copy of Monster Tale and Soundtrack (North America) RT to win! http://bit.ly/ee0cEH". We had a few gremlins last night but now it should be up and running
IT'S A GREAT GAME! but I also feel like it could've been done on gba...
North America or only USA? Because all you people think north america is usa but really is Canada, USA and Mexico. That is NorthAmerica.
@DarkEdi It's North America. Here we use that to mean Mexico, Canada and the US — when it's US only, we usually specify. Anyway, here, it's North America, so enter away!
Awww man, do I actually have to make a Twitter account for this one... Guess I'll let this one slide.
I wish I could enter, but I really don't want twitter. Guess i'l just buy it!
the contest is tomorrow, good luck everyone!
So, who wound up winning?
Just waiting for the winner to get back to us before making the announcement
