Ultraman is the silver-suited hero who stars in the television program: Ultra Q: Ultraman: Special Effects Fantasy Series, which was a spin-off of the television series Ultra Q. Due to its initial popularity in Japan the show has spawned numerous imitators, sequels and remakes -- and of course, a game or two.
Daikaiju Battle Ultra Coliseum DX: Ultra Senshi Daishuketsu for the Nintendo Wii is due in Japanese shops on February 25th, 2010. As far as we can tell this game follows the same style as its predecessors: a beat-em up. Fans of the show will no doubt be interested to know various Ultramen taken from various series and the movie: "Great Kaiju Battle Ultra Galaxy Legend" will feature as playable characters.
Whether this will see release overseas is anyone's guess (the first one released in 2008 never made it over), but you can be sure we'll let you know if we hear anything further about this potentially explosive daikaiju battlefest!

Very interesting news. This, and the possible release of Toshiden Wii in EU and NA
Awesome, Ultraman is epic. :3
@LEGEND MARIOID, I already have Toshinden and it's pretty impressive if not graphically flawed. =P
I remember watching this on TV in early 90s. I wonder how this will turn out.
i like fighting games, i like the ultraman idea.
LOL, I watched that show as a kid.
very awesome i just hope we get it in n/a
This has to be better than the Super Nintendo game, right? Right?!
Now when they say "beat 'em up", do they mean the likes of Streets of Rage? Because if so then I'd definitely be interested in this one!
Let's just pray they don't release the SNES Ultraman game on VC to commemorate this release.
