Deep Silver's cooking up some spookies with their survival horror title Cursed Mountain due out later this year. Or so we think, since little has been shown of the game outside of an Internet trailer. To the trailer's credit, it looks kinda spooky.
The game's official Web site just launched, and once you get by the annoying scrolling age-lock page, it's got a bunch of art, creepy wind, some exploration stuff and a freaky-looking monk very keen on telling you to check your rucksack.
In the game, you play the part of a mountaineer searching through the Himalayas for his missing brother. Thing's get ghastly when you encounter an ancient curse: the souls of people who died there are stuck in a limbo-type place called the Shadow World. Visions supposedly distort your view, too, but it's currently unclear how this affects gameplay.
Check out the trailer below and try not to pee your pants.

First comment, w00t. This game looks like a good title to lure some hardcore to the Wii-camp.
someone mentioned this game on the forum earlier. looks interesting.
your link to the website is borked, btw.
Balls.
I have to admit I'm really looking forward to this.
looks intresting, i also like the voice acting the monk sounds convincing
Well, come to think of it, no.... no I didn't wonder why monks learned to fight. I hope they start advertising this if it's good so people know about it.
Maybe I'm the only one that thinks this but it just seems to me that trailer is hiding a pretty average game possibly...
i've been watching the trailer on the nintendo channel, would be great to see it turn out well
Looking forward to this, LOTS!
Trailer has been taken off of Youtube. The copyright devils got this one too.
