Just by taking a quick glance at the software sales, it isn't difficult to tell that March was a huge month for blockbuster hits: Pokemon Platinum, Resident Evil 4, Halo Wars, etc. Even with those hits though, evergreen titles such as Wii Fit, Wii Play, and Mario Kart Wii managed to stick around for another month.

On the hardware side of things, everything seems to be down from last year paritally because of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, which was released last March, and Easter also fell in March last year. With that being said, next month may see hardware numbers up due to the launch of the Nintendo DSi and the Easter season.
