With Capcom hinting pretty heavily that another Resident Evil (Biohazard in Japan) game would be coming out for Nintendo’s premier system it should come as no surprise to discover that the latest issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu contains news on the subject. This new instalment in the popular franchise will take the form of another ‘on-rails’ shooter, akin to 2007’s well-liked Umbrella Chronicles.
Entitled ‘The Darkside Chronicles’, the new game appears to offer more of the same, although this time focusing heavily on the events surrounding Resident Evil 2. Expect frantic light gun action, recognizable characters from the series and lots and lots of rather famished zombies desperate to make a snack out of your precious brain-meat.
No word on a release date as yet, but you can’t be sure Capcom won’t be keeping that a secret for long.

That looks ace, sign me up!
Yep, I really enjoyed the first one, so I'm happy to hear about this, will certainly be grabbing it.
I'm also sure Capcom will be announcing another Resident Evil game for Wii over the next few months, standard one this time.
This is cool news, but I really want theme to release another RE that isn't on rails. The other systems got RE5, how come we get a House of the Dead?
YES!
I loved RE: UC! Great that it's now onto RE: 2 finally!
