Central Park is hiding a secret. Over the course of one apocalyptic night trapped in Manhattan’s vast parkland, hero Edward Carnby must fight the unimaginable to survive and uncover the earth-shattering truth. New York will never be the same again.

Sounds good eh? Alone in the Dark is one of those games that's going to be marketed for all formats, however the development cycle is hiding a secret of its own. It's one of those games that been developed by different companies for different platforms. This sort of thing usually leads to inconsistent games of which there is usually a superior. We can understand that the Wii version might need more of an emphasis on controls rather than graphics, but is this sort of behaviour in the interest of the game as a whole?

Looking pretty solid to us, lets just hope the controls are up to scratch then we might finally have a new Alone in the Dark of some quality.
