Lord Saltimatum General Tips

Here are some general tips to keep in mind as you take on the big boss:
- Lord Saltimatum hits big, so always have an ink path handy to quickly escape its attacks
- This is a long battle, so don't be afraid to spam your Showstopper
- Don't worry too much about the Salmonids, keep your focus on the boss
How To Beat Lord Saltimatum
Right from the get-go, Lord Saltimatum will start using his three main attacks, all of which can deal some pretty beefy damage.
In his first phase, he will summon three tornadoes, that spread out across the arena. You can easily swim between these and start chipping away at his health when you get close enough. He'll also power up a charge beam, which you'll have to swim in the direction of to avoid, and produce three projectiles that quickly shoot towards you.
Focus on avoiding all of the above and hit him with as much firepower as you can in the meantime. The boss is a real damage sponge, so keep up the attacks and don't lose heart.
Once you have hit him for enough damage, the boss will enter his defence phase. Like all bosses before, take out as many Salmonids as you can to collect Power Eggs and unleash a Drill Attack. This will leave Saltimatum vulnerable for some proper damage before he is restored for phase two.
In this second phase, Saltimatum produces the same three basic attacks, but each has been beefed up, so you now have four tornadoes and projectiles to look out for. Keep up the dodging and attacks in the interim to repeat the damage and Drill Attack cycle.
Phase three sees Saltimatum summon a huge dome attack which consumes most of the battleground. When you see him start this attack by pausing face down into the middle of the arena, swim as fast as you can to the very edge to narrowly miss the dome's circumference.
Once again, his attacks will gain another projectile in this third phase, so stay nimble and keep chipping away at his health whenever you can.
Keep this up for long enough and boom, Saltimatum is down as the special Relic reward is yours!
Just like that, you've polished off all the bosses in the game!
