The family that plays drinking games together, stays together

Nintendo Download 13th August (Europe)
Cowboys, card games, racing and more
As we already reported earlier this week, the Virtual Console is keeping up its streak of weeks with a new game a bit longer, with today's new retro release easily being the most interesting new title this week. All five of this week's games have already been released elsewhere, so you don't have to wait for any...
A whopping 8 new downloads this week.
There's nothing really big on DSiWare and WiiWare this week, so instead, Nintendo has chosen to release not 2, but 3 games for both services. The Virtual Console gets two well-known games, but both of them are of debatable quality. Let's start with WiiWare - "Aha! I Got It!" Escape Game is a lot like...
About The Game
Daddy, Mommy, Sarah and Billy are back for some good ol' card game action.
Try your hand at one of three card games: Daifugo, Speed or Memory. Family Card Games offers appealing cel-shaded graphics, endearing music and friendly, competitive match-ups. You can play one-player Daifugo or play against up to three other random players in an online match. You can also view your ranking and see how you match up with players around the world. Test your reflexes against another player in Speed and see who truly has the fastest hands. Memory will test your mental capacity as you try to remember where cards and their respective matches are.

This won't do anything to improve the credibility of the Family series but its hard to go wrong with card games. This might do well if you're into playing card games. Or maybe not.
What card games are there on this Family game? I only see Hearts and that's it.
At least this one has got Wi-Fi.
There's Speed/Spit, Hearts, and Daifogou IIRC. I'm getting it especially because of the addition of online play. I got a feeling there may be some qualities that may redeem the series a bit.

Hey, I thought it was hard to go wrong with a board game but they succeeded. Seriously, why do they insist on keeping this family around. They're games don't even stay in the top 20 very long. It doesn't help that the "family" of the Family series are completely generic.
Though when they decide to make Family Fishing people will buy by the digital boatloads.
The Family series really needs to stop.
I like card games, and I like the fact this has online play.
But I have been burnt by the family title already.
I will wait for the review, if the online is done well I would agree with KnucklesSonic8 this could redeem the series a bit.
