News Project CARS Isn't Planned to Appear on the Nintendo Switch
Quelle surprise
Remember Project CARS? The ultra-realistic racing sim was a pretty big deal back in the early days of the Wii U, and Slightly Mad Studios seemed pretty optimistic for the Wii U port. As time went on, the game was continually hit with delays – though the developer maintained that the Wii U would deliver a competent port – but the...

"It was always 'maybe' as we had no knowledge of the system"

"At the moment we're running at about 23FPS on the Wii U"
Project CARS is out now on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, performing well in early sales indicators. It was a project that suffered its share of delays, and the Wii U version was pushed back the most and given a loose '2015' window. Developer Slightly Mad Studios and publisher Bandai Namco have been...

Wow this game looks amazing! It reminds me of a NASCAR game I played on the GameCube. Can't wait!
Hmm. Not sure what to think, but I would sure love a high-calibur Wii U exclusive racing game like Gran Turismo or Forza... something to show off the power of the system.
This is looking like fun indeed , ha extreme karting ;p
Remember the old game "Destruction Derby". I would love a racing game that has the closed circuits and fender bending action of DD. Are there any game developers out there who could take on the challenge and incorporate those elements on today's hardware? They surely would have a hit on their hands.
This caught my eye a while back, looks great, and I hope that cars are fully customizable. This could be a great start to an awesome franchise for the Nintendo console.
Looking forward to this game! If it doesn't get cancelled like Dirt did...
EDIT: It got cancelled.
@Portista If you and I are thinking of the same game, it was NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona.
does not look bad
Are they ever going to show Wii U footage? All they talk about is the PS4, they're making a mistake and ignoring the many Wii U owners who are interested. With the lack of love directed toward the Wii U I'm already changing my focus to other games which are sure things like Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 1&2 and of course SSB.
Just seen that this is available for preorder from game and it's £15 cheaper on Wii U or PC....
By way of an update, from the official website:
"When is Project CARS released?
April 2nd on all platforms in Europe, April 2nd on PC in the US and April 7th on PS4 and Xbox One in the US.
Wii U and Steam OS versions then follow in 2015. Pre-order right here!"
Can't wait for this game! Finaly a real racing game for Wii U:)
This game appears in the "coming soon" list on the NL homepage...I'm still upset over not being able to play this
Hey, I remember this game!
