Review LEGO The Hobbit (Wii U)
We hates it forever
The LEGO series of games is a sales phenomenon, now established to a degree that it seems no matter how many releases are churned out on a yearly basis the sales flow, and steady praise flows its way. That's to the credit of TT Games and Warner Bros., but it's always a franchise at risk of spreading itself too thinly — as Bilbo...

News LEGO The Hobbit DLC Trilogy Expansion No Longer Planned for Release
To never be continued...
LEGO The Hobbit was a peculiar release, as unlike a number of its licensed contemporaries it didn't tell the whole story. Released mid-way through the film trilogy's arrival in cinemas, it covered events for the first two movies only, ending with a 'to be continued' message. The understanding was that DLC would be released...

It's that time again, North America, as we go through the download treats on the way to the eShop stores. A certain Wii U retail game is likely to steal the headlines, but there are also some promising new download-only titles and enticing Virtual Console games, along with a few...

The North American release of LEGO: The Hobbit on Wii U has been pushed back slightly [and not just by a single a week, as was originally reported], publisher Warner Brothers has revealed. The action adventure title hits Nintendo 3DS, PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4,...

Orcs, a dragon and all that good stuff
Its arrival may be rather at odds with the movie Christmas launches of the past two years, but LEGO The Hobbit is in North American stores from today and hits Europe on 11th April, including the Wii U and 3DS in its many release platforms. The game features events from the first two films of the trilogy, and...

One Ring to rule... ah, wrong one
Not too long ago we brought you the happy news that LEGO The Hobbit has been confirmed for 2014, with the Wii U and 3DS included in its release lineup. It'll cover events from the first two films of the film trilogy, An Unexpected Journey and The Desolation of Smaug, and like those movies will probably take enough...
News Warner Bros. Confirms LEGO The Hobbit For Release on the Wii U and 3DS Next Year
Go on an epic adventure with Bilbo and co.
Last week we reported that LEGO The Hobbit was scheduled for a 2014 release on 3DS and Wii U, with thanks to a scanned image of a promotional planner spotted in France - we stuck on the rumour tag for good measure as nothing about the title was confirmed. Today we come with good news, as Warner Bros. has...
About The Game
From the makers of the immensely popular LEGO The Lord of the Rings, comes LEGO The Hobbit, inspired by the first two films in The Hobbit Trilogy: The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and the upcoming The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug.
The interactive game of LEGO The Hobbit allows gamers to play along their favorite scenes from the films and follows the Hobbit Bilbo Baggins as he is recruited by the Wizard Gandalf to aid Thorin Oakenshield and his Company of Dwarves. Bilbo leaves the comforts of the Shire on a journey through Middle-earth to help the Dwarves reclaim their lost Kingdom of Erebor within the Lonely Mountain. Along the way, he is introduced to ravenous Trolls, dangerous Orcs and, of course, Gollum and his precious Ring. Players will utilise and combine the Dwarves’ unique abilities – often with hilarious results – to solve the most diverse Quests of any LEGO videogame to date.
