About The Game
Bayonetta comes to Nintendo Switch!
In a coffin submerged at the bottom of a murky lake, a witch is reborn. Discover or relive the epic Bayonetta anytime, anywhere on Nintendo Switch!
Originally released in 2010, the unforgettable first chapter of the Bayonetta saga introduced the world to "climax action", an explosive blend of dynamic action and saucy style. Armed with a gun in each hand and one on each foot, Bayonetta destroys her opponents with combo attacks that are as beautiful as they are brutal.
Dodge enemy attacks with perfect timing to activate Witch Time, leaving your slowed-down opponents defenceless against your barrage of kicks, blows and bullets, then finish them off with a devastating Torture Attack. No angel will stand in Bayonettaβs way.
Angels and demons
After remembering her name and her ability to summon demons, Bayonetta travels through the remote European city of Vigrid while staving off the armies of Paradiso and uncovering the truth of her long-lost past. As Bayonetta dispatches ever more powerful angels, meet unforgettable characters like the famed Demon-smith Rodin, information sniffer Enzo and many more.
Packed with a cast of unforgettable characters, an epic story, and both English and Japanese voice acting, Bayonetta is a truly bewitching experience.
Slay in style β anytime, anywhere!
Discover several Nintendo-themed costumes for Bayonetta β whether donning a memorable green tunic or rolling around dropping bombs like a famous bounty hunter, the Umbra Witch has never looked better.
With Nintendo Switch, you can take the action anywhere and play anytime! Thanks to the optional touch controls, you can utilise the Nintendo Switch touch screen to effortlessly command Bayonetta with just a tap or a swipe.

Hi I'm Stephen Barber and I've baten the first Bayonetta before it went to Nintendo.
When Bayonetta 1 and 2 went on Wii U, both Bayonetta 1 and 2 were both Physical Version.
And when both was released on the Switch, Bayonetta 2 was physical, and Bayonetta 1 was digital. Why is that?
Why wasn't the first Bayonetta Physical instead of Digital?
@VanOsdelGaming I think convenience
I first found Bayonetta when it came onto Playstation, and I was floored by everything this game had to offer!! Weapons, monsters, sexy main character, and an awesome gameplay structure throughout the entirety of the story! It did make me sad at first when they brought it to WiiU, but that feeling left when Switch came along. Had all three and plan to jump into the third and last installment this Summer!!
Great game! Loved it!!πππΎ
