Even recruits fresh to action gaming can take advantage of Assist Mode to reach the story's heart-pounding conclusion.

During their journey, players will unlock the ability to equip and call forth summons, adding a new dimension to battle strategy. Once channeled by Lyria, some summons can be directly controlled by the player. But, if certain conditions are met, others will make a spectacular entrance in a burst of glory—specifically, the "primal burst," a souped up version of the chain burst.
