Even something like Mario Kart DS, despite the graphical quality, would be worthwhile here if you don't own it in original form.
Obviously for someone such as myself that owns most of what they want in original cartridge form, the deal is a good bit different here and is all about the titles that we love enough and feel that they'd make the transition to the console environment well enough, to be worth double dipping for by purchasing the Wii U digital version to complement the original.
So far, the only 1st party release that I'm certain meets my own criteria is New Super Mario Bros. DS. Hoping that the wait isn't too long for that one (Shouldn't be, it's already out in Japan). I'm curious about the two Mario & Luigi titles as well, since I never did buy those. So if they make the transition well, I likely download them here.
If we ever get remappable controls, I'll be buying Yoshi's Island DS and Metroid Prime Pinball. But not when they can't even be properly played as-is without using that zoomed out view with the windowed DS border.
Metroid Prime Pinball though is another good example of an issue here, and that's nudging via a touch screen input. Our thumb will have quite a ways to go to reach the 4:3 center of the gamepad's widescreen. The option to shift the picture fully left or right or to stretch it to 16:9 proportions would return something like that to within reasonable thumb reach.
Probably Mario & Luigi games and the Zelda games for me personally.
I had to take a screen shot to make sure that was real! Corbs! Good to see ya again! It's @Mickeymac, 'case you don't recognize me (though maybe you still don't. )
The one I'd be most interested in is Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey as it never got a UK release.
Ah, that's right. That's still one of my favorites in the franchise (perhaps even my top favorite), and it's not easy to get after anywhere [EDIT: Well, unless you want to pay full retail price and you're in the U.S., then you can buy it on Amazon...] Definitely something that belongs on the shop, along with the rest of Atlus' major games like Radiant Historia.
Portrait of Ruin and SM64DS. Those need to be on eshop.
Some random dude on Nintendo Life.
Toriel left for a while, so Freaky Fred took over her place!
Not changing this part of the signature until Nintendo announces Super Mario Sunshine 2.

Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland. I was lucky enough to snag a complete copy in Ireland, and I want more people to experience just how wonderfully bizarre the game is. Just port the European version, and I'll be happy. (and will probably buy another copy to show my support)
