Topic: Yoshi´s Cookie is tranferible or not?

Hi, I read the message in Wii shop and it says Yoshi´s Cookie isn´t transferible and it is out of service without chance to download it again. So I checked my deleted games from the service (like Commodore games or R-Type games or my lonely DCK 1) and I see this games are available to download in my download list like always but Yoshi´s Cookie isn´t in the service, I donwload it and read the message and then I searched it in my downloads and in my historial I click to it and it appears it isn´t in the service.

Sorry to write a lot. My question is if this game is the first really out of the service, is this game tranferible if I left if in my Wii memory? or it gets deleted even if I put it in my memory? I don´t know if this is a similar situation with Lostwinds or this game is a different situation.

So I did understand the message well then, they were going to remove it completely from the service, not just delist it. I hope you had an SD backup.

Yes, i have it in my SD card and also in my memory system. I hope somebody try to transfer and answer if it is keep in the memory or deleted.

Thanks, that was my question. Then I need to keep this game in my internal memory and all i want to keep during the transfer like deleted channels to keep them in Wii U

I'm wanting to do the transfer again (for LostWinds) and Yoshi's Cookie, and ToriBash, and a few demos...

So LostWinds apparently works with the updated Transfer Channel.
Yoshi's Cookie is completely gone from the service, but I have it on Wii SD Card.
So, was Yoshi's Cookie transferable when copying it to the Wii memory and then copying the Wii memory to Wii U?
(Then that might work for ToriBash and the demos that didn't transfer too!)

Actually, what happens when I do a second transfer?
Is there anything that gets overwritten?
I don't want my new save data to be overwritten by old data I have left on Wii.

Won't work. Once you transfer they won't let you download them again, but that's because Wii was a financial failure, despite selling 100 million system, everyone knows it

I got a 2000 Wii Points refund for ToriBash and LostWinds. They didn't transfer correctly.

I had to download LostWinds again, ToriBash is gone though (which is a shame really, such a uniqe turn-based fighter)
I got Faxanadu (NES) and Ufouria: The Saga (NES) for the refunded 1000 Wii Points. I hope they make up for losing ToriBash in the transfer.

Nowadays I think I shouldn't have done the transfer. It's not just that Yoshi's Cookie (NES), ToriBash (WW) and a bunch of demos disappeared. I also miss Gamecube controller compatibility and 5-8 player modes (on games such as Dungeon Explorer and Driift Mania).
