Didn't like 8 at all. Prior to that I'd played a few of them up to no.5 I think. The DS one was pretty good. I actually wouldn't mind a second DS one to be honest

I hope so, it is one of only a few really great minigame games out there. I would like more characters and levels though

I would say we'll get one, but Nintendo don't usually take this long between games. Maybe we feel it's taking so long because the N64 and Gamecube games were obviously not on as powerful consoles so, they needed less development time. Or maybe it's taking longer because Hudson have been busy with other projects, who knows? I do hope they're taking the time to overhaul the next one on the Wii, 8 just wasn't that good. It wasn't bad exactly, just very average. I also hope they put more emphasis on making the single player mode fun.
Oh come on, Hudson could probably make a MArio Party in six months.
Nintendo Will either wait for their new system or just trash the series all-together.

I loved the DS game; it's one of the best entries in the series over the past many years. I'm sure we'll see MP9 eventually, but I hope it's sooner rather than later.
By the way, the current release gap is sort of long, but not all that long historically for the series, especially considering we got 2 games in '07.

I would love another mario party, I will never forget the times I had with the first one. I would like some online and 16 player minigames....but since this is mario party and not kart I guess I could settle for 8 player at most.

There best be ANOTHER sequel, cos 8 is boring now, we've had our fill of Rabbid's and there is only so many times you can get drunk party with BoomBlox.
An overhaul would be most welcome, and make the games really high quality.
