Im Pretty sure " ??? " means something as in saved data or a channel has been corrupted. Im not sure if it will affect your other saved data or channels but yes delete it.
Also in MWR and sometimes in MH3 when i run in MWR it my wii makes clunk noises and in MH3 when i go to a new area it makes clunky noises too pretty sure its just its loading but why when i run? ( No need to answer that )

It can't read half my Gamecube games, but that is sort of my fault for not storing them proper and them getting all dusty and scratched. Still sometimes I have the need to play Sonic Adventure 2 battle and it won't work...and it needs a hard-drive.
@SuperPeach Ahh than it must be some file that has to do with the wii (channel, save data) in this case it maybe a file that was on a SD card and copied onto your wii I dont kno how this is possible since it can only be wii related... perhaps its like my friends wii he tried to get my VC and WiiWare games by copying them on a SD card and than when he went to data management there too was " ??? ". So my 2 guesses must be your problem A: Corrupted (data/channel) or B: Wii file that can only be read on 1 wii but not another thus locking the data/channel.

My Wii also make LOUDE noises. But now, thats not all: It actualy SCRATCHES my discs. Most are playable and doesnt seem to be of any lower quality than before, however some have more loading-times and Silent hill lacks smooth framerate frome time to time. Shame
I can only say that my original Wii began to make noises too. (Maybe because it fell down a couple of times.) They got really loud over the time and after a long time led to permanent disc reading errors. The official lens cleaner didn't help much with the problems. They got fewer, but were still there. After a short while they happened as often as before. After they sent me a replacement console all games worked fine again. So personally i would have it repaired asap (as long as there's still warranty on the system that is).
