I came up with a idea (that probaly won't happen), but what if the game Tanks on Wii Play became a Wii Ware Title! That would be an instant buy, with online play. It would have more levels maybe upgrades, different guns, power ups(speed-rockets-air strike-etc.). Online would be agianst echother or team up! Just a thought what do you think. Now that I'm talking about tanks I think im gonna go play it!

Since wiiplay is so popular I think a wiiware version is unlikely, a DSi version on the other hand would probably sell.

I think it would be an awesome idea, I love that game but don't know anyone who likes it that can play with me

The only fun game on it to me is tanks and cow racing

Ravage, I had one of these back in the day so I could definitely hang.

I'd love to see a version done right on the Wii using the Classic Controller sticks.

Wifi would make one of the funest things if it were made

An expansion on that Wii Play Tanks game for Wii Ware would work, and maybe it would actually run half decient online... if not they could add 4 players (local).

Tanks was the best game in Wii Play. I would love to see an updated version with four player mode and upgrades and stuff. Great idea.

You remember the announcement of Frobot, right? Well, that's going to have the same basic gameplay as tanks.

@Ravage: That was the game, not just a controller! It was a one-game system from Telstar. Talk about a relic!

Oh Vendetta, i am JEALOUS! It looks near-mint; does is still function okay? Way back in the day (80s), i saw one of these systems being thrown out (it had a crack in the case) as i was walking home from school. Took it home and tried to get it running, but it had rained the night previous so it was shot.
BTW, i also months later found a pachinko machine (that did actually work) being thrown out by the same people! Ahh, the days of suburban "garbage-picking"!

In a similar vein, it would be cool if they made updates for Wii Sports Baseball, Boxing, and Tennis using Wii Motion Plus via Wiiware, and back to Wii Play, Wii Motion Plus billiards would be awesome as well.

Hey shpydar, that one itself isn't mine - but the one I had was just like it. I gave it away years ago, couldn't bear to send it to the curb. Made that mistake with an old "hobby horse" that would probably be worth a couple of mortgage payments today.
