Im 13 and I don't think that.
The only thing they have in common is 4 player co-op platforming. Miyamoto even said he wanted to do 4 player SMB for years. Besides we all know Sony copies nintendo all the time. (analog stick, motion control, I could go on and on.) Level editor and 4-player co-op is not original anyways.

Some things are ripped off from LBP, like the four player co-op. If it has a level creator, then that would be freakin sweet, but it would still be a rip off.

Zane, NSMB DS unfortunately did not have co-op. It has a versus mode that was quite fun in short bursts but not particularly amazing.
I put more hours into the vs. mode than the puzzle mode and main game combined. Throwing shells/bombs at your unknowing opponent, sliding under a falling roof, stealing your opponents good items, playing chicken with fireballs, corkscrewing down on your opponent on the springboard etc, etc. Its a more fun 2 player game than Mario Kart DS and its the entire base of New SMB Wii by the looks of it.
If 4 player is all that New SMB Wii has "stolen" from LBP then I suggest people look at a little thing called the Nintendo 64.
I totally agree on you that people thinks New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a ripoff which it got stolen by Little Big Planet. They were actually freaks and dumb!

One thing baout the DS game early in dev ALL the levels were supposed to be Mario and Luigi at the same time but they cut that out. I was pretty disapointed about that.

Well obviously it's the other way around. LittleBigPlanet wouldn't exist without Super Mario Bros. And since multiplayer has been a plan of Miyamoto's since the Super Nintendo days, I'm thinking these are just the rants of brainless fanboys. LittleBigPlanet is a fantastic game, but having played the multiplayer in that game pretty extensively, the only similarity I see is that they're both 2D platformers.

Apparently, LittleBigPlanet DEFINED 2D platformers.(Yeah right) It's like nobody knows what Mario is. Super Mario Bros., 2, 3, World, etc. All better than LittleBigPlanet.
