Topic: who here is gonna get guitar hero 5?

i am! its gonna be AWESOME! supossed to be the best on wii too! its gonna have dlc, ds-wii conectivity and alot more! im excited

Im getting GH5 day one. Dont foget that they got rid of friendcodes in this game too. And it has SDHC support, supports all downloadables from GHWT, and improved GHtunes interface

This might actually be my first console GH.

I think I will pick it up when the game itself gets really cheap.
World Tour was such a let down....

I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority here but I find the Guitar Hero games to be incredibly dull. I play guitar and to me playing Guitar Hero is a pale imitation of the experience which just makes me wish I had a real guitar in my hand.
In a way the Guitar Hero experience is the complete antithesis of playing an instrument as it's just about hitting the right buttons at the right time but with real guitar there are no "right" or "wrong" notes. I'm not having a go an anyone who likes these games but just saying that they're not for me at all.

rockband is better. They have had only two games and they are already better

Roadie battle is a great idea!! My girlfriend (as much as I love her) SUCKS at guitar hero. She gets so frustrated that she ends up handing the guitar to me, and ends up singing. but even then she isn't fantastic. She was saying to me before "I wish there was a way I could play guitar hero with you, but not drag the experience" Now she can be my roadie. Especially since she just bought a DSi last week.
