I just checked IGN and a couple other sites that had hands-on coverage, and they all say 2. That's a bit disappointing, but it was already too good to be true for a WiiWare game. I'd rather see 4P splitscreen than online, but at least you can have AI opponents to round things out.
I don't see myself needing more than one FPS, but now I'm not sure which to get. Each has some major shortcomings. No offline for Conduit (and possibly laggy online). No 4P offline for Water Warfare. Guess I'll just get something on PS3.

Id break it down like this for your situation. I'd get the wii water warfare BECAUSE then you can encourage more offline multiplayer wii games, i support most wii projects that have offline.
