Topic: which one will you be getting

i havent seen this yet but goldeneye(11-2-10) and conduit 2(11-2-10) and(!) call of duty black ops(11-9-10) are coming the exact month so i was wondering which one will you be getting????
i am going to stick with the classic conduit 2!

I won't be getting either but if i did it would be conduit 2.

Who said they are releasing on the same day? I find that highly improbable.

If they do, I'll be getting Conduit 2. I have the first one and my sister is a big fan of it.

Well if they do I would get GoldenEye mainly since I never played Conduit and I dont get sequels unless I play the first one first.

yeah they both look amazing but i liked conduit 1 and they didnt take a 10 year break to make a new one

Goldeneye. I'm almost 100 percent sure the Conduit 2 will be another mediocre and uninspired High Voltage game. High Voltage is like Sonic the Hedgehog 2003-2009. There is a good chance the game will suck and the people that are planning on buying it know that and even if it does suck those people will still buy it. Besides Goldeneye has more of a multiplayer focus and I need one of those types of games.

I agree that Conduit 2 will probably be another mediocre game with big ideas from HVS. You do realize, though, that Goldeneye is not a sequel or revamp of the original but instead is just an attempt by Activision to leverage the good will and name recognition of a classic? Sadly, if forced to choose based only on the track record of each publisher on Wii this generation, Conduit 2 is more likely to be worth playing.

Hopefully I'm wrong and both games will be great. But my suggestion is not to hold your breath or commit to buying either game until reviews come out though.

I think he's just saying in general. I mean I don't think everyone can pull out $100 for these two games and if you think about it, they are kind of competing against each other since their both coming out in the same month along with Black-Ops which should also be an option of this thread.

But if I had to pick I'd have to say that Goldeneye is going to be better just because of the offline which looks really, really good.

I didn't like the Conduit and I still have the original Goldeneye so I guess I'll get the new Goldeneye if I had to pick between the two.

I actually really liked The Conduit 1, so The Conduit 2 for me. Goldeneye will probably end up being just a crappy cash in.

well i disagree but i did add call of duty i just think that is is more of xbox material unless they add the zombies to this one i wont buy the wii version

Goldeneye. I mean everyone who says that Goldeneye will probably be a cheap cash-in must not have seen any gameplay footage.

Although the counduit looked very generic, the sequel looks like a big improvement from what I've seen.
