Fine, fine...I guess it's a viable franchise, and The Last Story doesn't mean We're Not Making Anymore Games In This Franchise. However, the initial shock of seeing Golden Sun: The Last Story on something I've been waiting for six-and-a-half years for would be overpowering for me, and I'd lose it for sure.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
My vote goes to Starfox. Even if it was the last Star Fox title that wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. Nintendo would want the last one to be great, so instead of having it be craptastic like Assault and Adventures, they'd probably go all out.

I didn't hate them(well, maybe Adventures) but I also didn't like them. Star Fox 64 is my favorite.
With a new Star fox maybe they could have an "arcade" mode in which the game is shorter with different paths and possible to beat in one sitting like Star Fox 64. And then they could have a more in depth, longer, linear "story" mode.
Not a bad idea. (Star Fox 64 is pretty much EVERYONE'S favorite, lol) But yeah, Star Fox 64 was kinda like an arcade game and a story at the same time. Plus if they seperated story and arcade, that's like 2 games right there.
No more smash this gen methinks. im gonna place my bets on the next gen. but then again, theres been 2 different mario platformers on wii, maybe theyll surprise us
